The time has come once again for our Skyblock server to start a brand new chapter! For the past month, behind the scenes we have been hard at work updating our Skyblock server to the latest Minecraft version whilst adding to and enhancing the gameplay as much as possible! Players can expect to see some massive new features this upcoming season such as: 1.20 backend, archaeology world, custom helmet and harvest hoe skins, economy changes and much more! This upcoming season of Skyblock will be launching this upcoming weekend at Friday 11th August 3pm MST.

Upcoming Changes
- Backend has been updated to 1.20
- Skin keys can now be opened on Skyblock to gain access to Helmet skins (hats) and Harvest Hoe skins
- Brand new Archaeology digsite has been added making use of 1.20 archaeology mechanics (/warp digsite)
- Brand new Sniffer spawner has been added (obtainable through the newly added digsite)
- Players are now able to access Smithing Templates and Pottery Sherds through the newly added digsite
- Brand new skill has been added 'Archaeology' which is levelled up by extracting artifacts from the digsite
- New permission has been added 'Use Buckets' to prevent players from easily griefing using buckets
- All valuables (Holoskulls, Compost Bins, Chunk Loads and Teleport Pads) will now go straight to your inventory upon breaking
- Book and Quills have now been re-enabled (made possible by recent patches made by spigot)
- Shop has now been updated to include all of the new items from 1.19 and 1.20
- Silverfish spawners have been moved from a T1 to T7 spawner to change things up
- Bee spawners have been moved from a T7 to a T1 spawner
- Cactus has been debuffed slightly to encourage other means of money making
- Beetroot sell price has been debuffed
- Carrot sell price has been buffed to $3.00 each (New crop meta for making $$)
- Enderpearls can now be sold for a low value (they were previously impossible to sell)
- New challenge has been added (Archaeologist) which involves extracting artifacts
- New mob statue varient has been added (Sniffer)
- Player collision has been disabled in the spleef event
- All players with ranks will now have access to all of the newly added mob disguises
- Fixed a bug where a bunch of sound effects were not working for the key animations
- Fixed a bug where Pocketpals would appear really dark
- Players are no longer able to change beacon effects to the beacons in their end dimension
- Cleaned up a bunch of our GUIs and hid the vanilla lore from spawners
- OldCombatMechanics has been updated to the latest version fixing a few major quirks with PvP mechanics
- Fixed a bug where 'Island Upgrades' inside the '/island info' GUI did not take into account the end island upgrades
- Fixed a bug where the End Berry animation would appear in the overworld on players islands
- Fixed a bug where the '15% Upgrade Discount' perk did not work with the end dimension upgrades
- Skins have now been added to Spleef (Hats)
- All of the challenges for killing mobs have been reduced (they are now much easier to achieve)
- Attempted to fix an issue where having Glass Spawners enabled would completely break some islands
- Fixed a bug when using the repair signs at spawn, players would get a message saying "You can't break this block here"
- Rank descriptions have been updated (They previously said that Emerald+ had access to /Fly when all players now have access to it)
- Players are now able to toggle the voting villager vote reminders in chat
- Improved /tps command alongside spark profiler to help locate server performance issues



Trails & Tales Update (1.20):
The biggest change players will face next season is the updated backend from 1.18 to 1.20! This update will bring forward all of the newly added Minecraft features (Such as archaeology, hanging signs, etc). Minecraft 1.20 was released on the 7th June, and in typical Skyblock fashion, we are striving to keep everything on the latest Minecraft version!

Archaeology World:
The Archaeology world is a new world which will be accessible to all players on our Skyblock server. This world consists of an archaeology digsite which takes full advantage of the 1.20 archaeology mechanics (brushing). Players can access this world using the command '/warp digsite'. Once here, players can utilize the newly added Brush tool to extract artifacts from suspicious sand and suspicious gravel. Extracting artifacts will grant players access to exclusive items such as smithing templates, pottery sherds and the all new Sniffer spawner.

Hats & Harvest Hoe Skins:
Following in the footsteps of our latest Survival reset, Skins will be making their way to our Skyblock server. By opening Skin Keys, players will be able to unlock access to a plethora of exclusive hats and harvest hoe skins to show off. No longer do you have to grind away thousands of crops starring at a boring diamond hoe, upgrade your style and customize your tools! Players can view all available skins by using the command '/skins'.

New Skills & Challenges:
With the addition of the new archaeology digsite, we have also implemented a brand new skill (archaeology) alongside new challenges for players to complete. Players can level up their archaeology skill by extracting artifacts from the sand, granting them access to the new ability which will have players uncovering multiple artifacts at once!

It's about time Survival got an announcement! For the past month, behind the scenes we have been hard at work updating our Survival server to the latest Minecraft version whilst adding to and enhancing the gameplay as much as possible! Players can expect to see some massive new features this upcoming season such as: 1.20 backend, claims plugin overhaul, 2 new events (Spleef and Challenges), seasonal keys, chat tags and much more! This upcoming season of Survival will be launching this upcoming weekend at Friday 7th July 3pm MST.

Upcoming Changes
- Backend has been updated to 1.20
- Claims plugin overhaul (players can now trust / ban / configure permissions for each individual claim)
- Brand new Spleef event has been added
- Brand new Survival Challenges event has been added
- /givepet <player> command has made a return (all players will have access to this command)
- Fixed a bug where players could open shulker boxes from outside your claims
- Fixed a bug where players could put music disks inside jukeboxes in other players claims
- Fixed a bug where players could pickup fish / axolotls in other players claims
- Fixed a bug where players were unable to create claims near 0,0 in the overworld
- 'Damage Mobs' permission has been split into 2 permissions 'Damage Mobs' and 'Damage Pets'
- New permission added to prevent other players from setting warps inside your claims
- New permission added to prevent other players from setting and teleporting to sethomes inside your claims
- Staff members are now able to view the trustlist and banlist of other players claims
- Official PvP arena has been moved to a seperate world (accessible via /warp PvP)
- Combat Timer has been added to the new official PvP arena (does not apply to unofficial PvP arenas)
- Players are no longer able to use disguises inside the new PvP arena
- New Nether Resource World has been added (this will also reset every 7 days)
- Fishing Job will now give EXP and Money for catching Treasure and Junk
- Players whom have the disguise perk will now be able to disguise as 'Camels' and 'Sniffers'
- Players will no longer get kicked for spam when using the /bottle command
- Seasonal Keys and Chat Tags have now been added
- Players are now able to easily manage all of their toggles by using the command /toggles
- Farming job has been buffed and will now give players even more experience and money
- Book and Quills can now be used by players (they are no longer disabled)
- Players are now able to pause their active Job Amplifier in the /jobs GUI
- New command added '/playtimetop' allowing players to see who has the highest playtime
- Staff are now able to view the list of other players created claims
- New claim setting has been added allowing players to hide their claims from dynmap
- New toggle has been added allowing players to hide themselves from appearing on dynmap
- Mangrove Logs and Cherry Logs have been added to '/kit building'
- Players are now able to toggle the Voting Villager to stop him from spamming their chat
- Players can now configure their warps so that only their friends can use them
- Voting Villager rewards have been tweaked slightly (players will now get more claim blocks)
- Fixed a bug in Boss Event where Minions would track players on the spawn pedestal
- Minions in the Boss Event will now spread more evenly across all players
- Shields have been added to the Boss Event
- Players are now able to create Chest Shops inside the end world

Claims Plugin Overhaul:
Next season, players will notice that our claims plugin has undergone a simple but important change to allow for much more flexibility. Rather than being shared globally across all your claims, players will now be able to individually setup different permissions, trusted and banned players across each of their individual claims. As of next season when using claims commands, it is important to stand inside the claim of your choice that you are wishing to configure!

PvP Arena Overhaul:
This upcoming season, Survival players will have a much more comfortable official place to PvP players on the server. /Warp PvP is a brand new official PvP arena which will be the only place on the Survival server to enforce combat tags (unofficial player made PvP arenas will not have combat tag). With this change comes a plethora of fixes and quality of life changes for PvPers (such as being unable to use disguises inside the official PvP arena).

Nether Resource World:
Next season will be introducing a brand new Nether Resource World. Since the implementation of Netherite and Armor Trims, many items are becoming harder to obtain over a long season. This new resource world will work identical to the Overworld Resource World (resetting every Friday). The only way to access the Nether Resource World is by using the command '/Wild'.

New Survival Events:
Events are a great way to keep the community engaged! Next season Survival will be introducing 2 new events which will take place throughout the day (Spleef and Survival Challenges). Spleef is a classic Minecraft minigame where you need to dig the snow below your opponents in attempt to make them fall into the water below. The last surviving player will be deemed the winner! Survival Challenges are a brand new event which will happen at random intervals throughout the day. All players online will be given a selected objective (for example Kill Creepers) and the top 3 players who complete the most in the allocated time will be deemed the winners!

Summer Keys:
Summer keys are a brand new type of key which are only available to purchase until the end of August. These keys are unique in the way they work, giving players a guaranteed 5 rewards (2 of which are limited edition chat tags). There are currently 7 available chat tags for players to collect, all of which can be viewed and activated by using the command /tags. The only way to obtain these chat tags is by opening these limited edition keys, or purchasing them from another player (auction house).

The time has come once again for our Prison server to start a brand new chapter. This season is focussed on adding as much new content as possible to keep the game feeling modern and fresh! Players can expect to see some massive new features this upcoming season such as mining chests, massive dungeons update, new private mine roles, new private mine upgrades and much more! This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming reset which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 16th June 3pm MST.

Upcoming Changes
- Mining Chests (chests that can hold unlimited amount of mining resources)
- Livestock Feeder (easy way to mass-feed all of your livestock at once)
- Kit Money has been revamped (players will receive more money as they prestige through the ranks)
- Mystery Money (lottery) has been reworked slightly to prevent alt accounts from winning the jackpot
- New Private Mine upgrade allowing for players to reduce the Wheel of Fortune cooldown time
- Brand new role has been added to Private Mines 'Manager' allowing for more flexible permission setups
- Dungeons has received a massive update adding upgrades and much more
- Players are now able to silence the Voting Villager to have it stop spamming your chat
- Fixed a bug with Boss Battle where players could shoot bows from the spawn platform
- Leaderboards are now ordered by when players obtain Z9 (for example the first player to reach Z9 is #1)
- Armor Stand has now been added to the Brackets lobby displaying the winner of the previous game
- /Shop GUI has been cleaned up and revamped to look more modern and similar to our Skyblock GUI
- Red Sand has been added to the shop
- Spawner economy has been changed up (new meta spawners)
- Fixed a bug where the 'Private Plot' and 'Private Barn' NPCs would sometimes break
- Spawners will now have additional lore on them detailing drop rates for the mob
- Spawners will now go directly to your inventory upon breaking them
- Fixed a bug with barns where the 'Back to Mine' portal would occasionally break
- Barn permissions have been cleaned slightly (players can now allow visitors to only feed their livestock)
- Fixed a bug with barns where the Manager NPC would not display the goals correctly in some scenarios
- Fixed a bug where players would not receive a backpack if their inventory was full
- Fixed a bug with the "/pmine plot" command where it would sometimes tell you it was unsafe
- Fixed a bug where some NPCs would display a UUID above their heads
- Admins are now able to access other gang chests in the event that they need to take certain items
- Chat Tags will now appear whilst in dungeons
- New command added for all staff members '/dungeon list' allowing them to view and spectate ongoing games
- Brand new spawn builds (Japan Theme)



Dungeons Update:
Making an appearance 2 seasons ago, dungeons has been a big hit on Prison, however it was clear that it lacked replayability and the potential for it was not being reached. This upcoming season, dungeons will be receiving a massive update implementing soul chests, upgrades and different dungeon rooms for players to progress through as they slaughter through waves of mobs.

Soul Chests will be located in each dungeon room. Players are required to kill mobs near the chests and it will consume their souls. Using these souls, players will be able to purchase upgrades such as Sharpness, Knockback and bonus hearts (additional health). Souls are also a necessity if you are wanting to progress further into the dungeon as they will be required to unlock a portal to the next zone.

Kit Money Revamped:
One of the biggest complaints with Kit Money was that it was only useful at the start of the season. This upcoming season, Kit Money is being revamped resulting in higher ranked players receiving more money. Each prestige will now reward players with an additional $100,000 giving the kit much more purpose later on in the season.

Mining Chests:
Mining chests have been added to address an issue that has existed on Prison for many years now. No longer will players be required to spend hours making ore profit-shops using thousands of chests and thousands of signs, this can now be done using simply 1 mining chest and 1 sign! Mining Chests can be purchased from the ingame /shop and work identically to normal chests. Players are able to link Chest Shops to their mining chest to buy and sell mining resources. Mining Chests can hold an unlimited amount of mining resources, but they are unable to hold any other types of items!

Livestock Feeder:
The Livestock Feeder is a new unlockable addition to barns which gives players the ability to mass-feed all of their livestock at once. Like all other aspects of the barn, the Livestock Feeder must be unlocked by completing a specific objective (in this case blocks destroyed with the PMD). Once unlocked, this feeder becomes a massive game-changer with feeding livestock resulting in a much more efficient barn.

Private Mine Additions:
This upcoming season, Private Mines will be receiving some new content. Players will find a brand new role added (manager) allowing for much more powerful permissions setups. A brand new mine upgrade is also being added which is accessible via barns. This new upgrade allows for players to reduce the cooldown on the Wheel of Fortune, meaning you no longer have to wait 24 hours to spin for that buff you desire!
