Another 8 weeks has passed, which brings our current season of Factions to a end. Congratulations to all the winners, I will be contacting you over this weekend via Discord to sort out your prizes. Whilst we get everything in place for the upcoming season of Factions, we will be having 1 week of downtime like always (no one will be able to join Factions during this period).

Season 17 Information:
Next season of Factions will be our 17th Season. The season is scheduled to launch on Friday 9th August 5pm Central Time. A live countdown for the reset can be viewed Here. The live countdown will also convert the reset time to your timezone to assist with planning! We will be giving out $2,500 USD worth of prizes next season of Factions. Upcoming Changes:
Like always, with the reset we will be pushing as much new content and fixes as always.
One of the more vital changes to expect next season is the way FTop works (Value now goes up over a 24 hour period rather than instantly. This is to prevent players from placing value just to claim prizes). A more detailed list of changes will be posted in the server changelog closer to the release date.

Cannon Speeds & Buffers:
As Factions start to plan their bases, I would also like to let you know next map will be 20 chunk buffers, and 4 second speed limits. A website is a very important aspect of a Minecraft Server. It is a fundamental aspect where players go to receive help on the server, apply for staff, report players, appeal their punishments and simply interact with the community in general!

Why did we swap to a new website?
For over 5 years now, we have been using Enjin to power our website. Over the past few years, the popularity and support from Enjin has been in a downward spiral, resulting in many Minecraft servers moving away from it. We were one of the only remaining servers still on Enjin! Over the past few weeks, we have been working very hard to move away from Enjin, as we felt it was a vital step for moving forward with our server.

This new website has been designed from ground up with Minecraft Central in mind. The purpose of the new website is to perform everything that our past one was able to, and much more!

What is different with this new website?
The main difference with this new website is the software which powers it. We are no longer with Enjin, we are now running Xenforo, a forum software which many other Minecraft servers also use! Xenforo allows us to have full control over the website, allowing us to properly moderate users profile posts aswell. This was something we never had proper control over whilst using Enjin.

We understand that this is a big change for the server, and things may be a bit bumpy at the start as we smoothen things out on the website, and get everything fixed and running smoothly! In the end, it will be all worth it!

What about all my forum posts?
Unfortunately, now that we have made a complete transition to Xenforo, this is a complete fresh start. Whilst we are going to work on transferring some of the vital threads...
