The time has come once again for our Skyblock server to start a brand new chapter. This season is focussed on adding as much new content as possible to keep the game feeling modern and fresh! This changelog will detail all changes big and small for our upcoming reset which will be dropping this upcoming Friday 27th June 3pm MST.
Upcoming Changes
- Late-game Power Generator Trap has been added to the Nether Dimension
- Sniffers now spawn roughly every 15 minutes on private digsites (the goal is to capture them in the trap)
- Sniffer Hunter NPC alongside a Sniffer Trap has been added to all private digsites
- Mining generators have been unified into one large mine which will work towards unlocking the Power Generator Trap
- Biome Wands have been added to the Mobcoin Shop, giving players much more control over their island biome
- New style of chat game added, requiring players to hover to reveal a hidden word
- New custom enchantment Spawner Breaker added, making it easier to relocate grinders
- New island upgrade added to the Gem Vendor: Archaeology Skill Amplifier
- Rapid excavation will now be limited to only the island members
- New island permission has been added to configure who can use rapid excavation
- Mining generators no longer rely on the Power Generator being active to function
- Fixed a bug where players could change redstone repeater timings without permission
- Fixed a bug where players could extract artifacts on other players’ digsites without permission

Sniffer Hunter:
This season, a brand-new feature is arriving on every player’s private digsite! The Sniffer Hunter has set up camp next to a Sniffer Trap on your digsite, and every 15 minutes, wild Sniffers will begin to spawn across the digsite. Your goal is to trap them, earning you epic rewards including spawners and research points. These valuable research points can be used to upgrade your digsite even further, making each successful capture more rewarding than the last.

Chat Games are getting a fresh new style of game! This time, players must hover over a hidden piece of text to reveal a secret word. The challenge? Be the first to type it in chat once you've uncovered it. As always, speed is everything — the fastest player wins!
Biome Wands:
This upcoming season, take control of your island’s biome like never before with the all-new Biome Wand, available in the Mobcoin Shop. This powerful tool lets you customize your island’s biome in specific areas, allowing for truly unique and dynamic builds. Whether you want snow to fall only on a distant mountain peak or create a vibrant tropical reef in one corner of your island, the Biome Wand makes it all possible!

This upcoming season, Nether Mining Generators are getting a streamlined revamp! All generators have been merged into one powerful, unified generator that now plays a key role in unlocking the brand-new Power Generator Trap. Players can customize the block composition by speaking to the NPC located outside the Nether Mine. Mine enough blocks, and you'll gain access to this powerful late-game trap—an essential tool for optimizing your island's generator performance!

Designed to make relocating grinders easier than ever, this enchantment lets you break and collect spawners faster than ever before. Power Generator Trap:
The Power Generator Trap is a late-game feature built for the most dedicated grinders! By fulfilling all the requirements—such as leveling up your Power Generator and mining blocks within the new Nether Mine—players can unlock this powerful trap. Once activated, the Power Generator Trap will automatically eliminate Power Phantoms, helping your island maintain and sustain its generator with ease. This game-changing tool is the ultimate reward for those who put in the hard work!

- Mob Farms have been added to the farming worlds, allowing players to grind mobs and unlock Mob Chambers.
- Mob Chambers have been added to all generator islands, providing a passive way to generate Mob Essence.
- Three new island upgrades have been added, all purchasable using the newly introduced Mob Essence.
- A new Community Goal reward has been added, giving all players a chance to catch bonus fish.
- A new Communtiy Goal reward has been added, granting all players with a discount on island upgrades.
- /sleep command has been added to the Immortal rank, allowing players to remove phantoms.
- Infinite hunger has been disabled in the PvP world to restore proper combat balance.
- New command added "/gen upgrade" to easily access the new island upgrade interface.
- 2 new island permissions have been added, allowing players who can upgrade their island and mob chambers.

Community Mob Farms:
In the public farming worlds, players will now discover three community mob farms, each playing a crucial role this season! Slaying livestock within these farms will reward players with a brand new currency: Mob Essence. But that’s not all—slaughtering enough of these livestock will also unlock access to the powerful new Mob Chamber feature, available on every player’s generator island.

Mob Chambers:
Located on every generator island, players will find three Mob Chambers, each linked to a specific mob from the community mob farms. To unlock a chamber, players must first slaughter the required amount of the corresponding mob in the public farm. Once unlocked, the chamber will automatically begin slaughtering mobs on its own, generating passive Mob Essence over time without any further effort required.
Players can then invest their Mob Essence back into these chambers to unlock powerful upgrades. These include changing the mob species, increasing the chamber’s capacity, and boosting the speed at which mobs are slain. By strategically upgrading their chambers, players can greatly enhance their passive Mob Essence production.

Upcoming Changes
- Smuggler Heat Level has been added. Increase your heat to earn greater rewards.
- Treasure chests can now spawn during Mining Expeditions, offering bonus rewards.
- Completing Mining Expeditions now grants Expedition Tokens, which can be spent in the Expedition Shop.
- A leaderboard hologram has been added to the Mining Expedition world to display top players.
- Iron Golems now spawn in the Prison Depths and can be tamed to help with grinding.
- A new Prison Competitions event has been added, featuring various prison-related challenges.
- Players can now store food in the Livestock Feeder to automatically feed their animals.
- After defeating the Mining Mole, players will now see a hologram showing the remaining buff duration.
- The 'Mine Bank' NPC is now only accessible to players with the correct mine permissions.
- Soul Beacons have been moved from the Essence Shop to the new Expedition Shop.

Smugglers and their illicit contraband have long been a defining feature of the Wilderness. In the upcoming season, they’re getting an exciting overhaul with the introduction of a brand-new Heat Level system! As players hunt down and eliminate Smugglers, they’ll build up Heat across five escalating levels—each one offering increased contraband rewards. But stay sharp—Heat decays over time, so you’ll need to keep up the pressure if you want to maximize your rewards!

Prison Depths Golems:
Designed to aid players in the grind, Iron Golems now roam the Prison Depths. These powerful beings aren't just another enemy—they can become your allies. By dealing enough damage, players can Tame a Golem, transforming it into a temporary companion that rampages through mobs on your behalf. Use these fearsome allies to tear through enemies and level up your armor faster than ever before!
Mining Expedition Changes:
This upcoming season, Mining Expeditions are receiving a series of exciting updates. Upon successfully completing an expedition, players will earn an Expedition Token, which can be spent in the all-new Expedition Shop to unlock a variety of valuable rewards. While exploring, keep your eyes peeled—you might stumble upon a Treasure Chest, granting bonus Expedition Tokens! And if you're feeling competitive, you're in luck—a brand-new leaderboard has been introduced within the expedition world to showcase the top explorers.

Prison Competitions are an exciting new event debuting this upcoming season, replacing the current Care Package event—but don’t worry, the Care Package isn’t going anywhere! It now lives on as one of several objectives within the new system. These dynamic competitions will challenge players with a variety of Wilderness-based tasks, such as slaying Smugglers, dealing PvP damage, mining blocks in the Wilderness Mine, and, of course, capturing the classic Care Package.

The Livestock Feeder is getting a major quality-of-life upgrade this upcoming season! Players can now store their Livestock Food directly inside the Feeder, ensuring their animals stay fed automatically—no extra effort required. - Extracting artifacts in your private digsite will now reward your islands research center with research points
- Rapid Excavation has been added to the private digsites which can be activated once per hour
- Fixed a small bug where players could unenchant some items (such as sell wands) by utilising a grindstone
- Fixed a bug where experience bottles would simply dissapear if a player was to break an experience hopper
- Fixed a bug where mob drops would simply dissapear if a player was to break a mob drop hopper
- Players are now able to pause skills amplifiers inside the /skills interface

Private Digsites:
The Archaeology Digsite has been a core feature of our Skyblock server since its introduction. However, it's remained largely unchanged—until now! In the upcoming season, we're rolling out a massive overhaul to the digsite system. Every island will now have access to its own private digsite, giving players full control over who can use it. But that’s just the beginning! With digsites becoming private, players can look forward to deeper progression and exciting new upgrade paths to enhance their digsite experience.

At the heart of your digsite, you'll now find a brand-new Research Center! As you extract artifacts from your island's digsite, your Research Center will automatically level up, granting your island valuable Research Points. These points can be spent at the Research Center to unlock unique digsite upgrades, enhancing your archaeology experience. These upgrades offer powerful buffs, including increased artifact value and the all-new Rapid Excavator for faster extraction!

The Random Challenge event is getting an exciting update with the addition of archaeology challenges! Utilising private digsites, players can compete to extract as many valuable artifacts as possible within a 15-minute timeframe. Get your brushes ready and start extracting – the race for that event win is on!
Rapid Excavation:
Rapid Excavation is a powerful new buff available at your private digsite! When activated, all players on your digsite will gain the ability to instantly extract artifacts for a limited time. Strategically invest your research points to extend the duration of this game-changing excavation tool and maximize your rewards!

In the upcoming season, players will have greater control over their Skill Amplifiers and when they’re active. You’ll now have the ability to pause your amplifier at any time — no more pressure to maximize every second! Your amplifier will also pause automatically when you log out, so you can pick up right where you left off.

- Farming Minions have landed on the generator island, acting as a helper in your Beetroot farm
- Farming Hoes will now come with a handful of upgrades granting players with even more progression as they farm
- Community Goal has been added to the Fishing Pond, rewarding all online players daily
- Players whom are detected as AFK will now receive god mode (to prevent accidental deaths)
- Questions have been added to our Chat Games (which take place in chat roughly every 30 minutes)
- Community Coinflip has been adjusted to the same as Skyblock and Prison (45% win chance)
- Abbreviated gem balances have now been implemented across additional plugins making it easier to read numbers
- Fixed an issue with the Autosell Factory which was resulting in severe lag spikes late into the season
- Whilst fishing in the Fishing World, fish will automatically go to your inventory
- Whilst placing a generator on top of another generator (using right click) it will no longer open the upgrade interface

A new companion is arriving on your Generator Island—a helpful little minion! The Farming Minion will automatically harvest crops in your Beetroot Farm, making your daily grind easier. As it works, the minion will collect Minion Money, a special currency that can be spent on upgrades to enhance its performance. Boost your minion’s efficiency and watch your farm thrive!

Farming is at the heart of Gens Tycoon, and it’s where players will spend the majority of their time grinding! The Farming Hoe has always been a crucial tool, but it’s time for some much-needed progression.
In the upcoming season, players will see the Farming Hoe transform into an Upgradeable Farming Hoe. As you use it, it will level up, granting you upgrade points to invest in its improvement along your journey. The more you farm, the stronger your tool becomes—making your grind even more rewarding!

A new Community Goal is coming to the Fishing World this season! Work together as a community to reach the target, and everyone will reap the rewards—generator discounts! By hitting the daily goal, all players will unlock a 24-hour discount on purchasing and upgrading their generators.
