The title speaks for itself and I feel like it would not be that hard of a change to make. Its not a huge deal but I would much rather prefer to just to /f invite instead of typing out /friend.
I kinda think this command would be messed up with faction "/f" commands, and possibly several more. But overall this is a decent suggestion, however, I kinda think /friend and /friends should be the main command, to avoid confusion. This is my opinion! (Not gonna vote) ~Cya!
Hey Legwarmer! A lot of similar threads about revamping the friend system have made here and here. The issue with making the command /f is that it may interfere with the faction server which uses /f for all of the basic function (creating a faction, inviting players etc.) That being said I think that sometime in the future it is likely that they will bring the friend system up to current times with more convenient commands.
Hey!, After what RegentAgent said maybe making it /fr instead of /f. But, any shorter version I feel would be so much more convenient.
I think they should find something to make it shorter and easier. Is my opinion it should be /fri or /fr to keep it short and not mess with other commands. All in all they should make a shorter command for friend, it would be very helpful.
I 100% agree with this. I know you can just type out /Friend add but /F is more convenient to use and takes less time! This would be totally worth adding in my opinion.
Hey, This idea isn't bad. But, I dont see a reason for this to be added, the friend system right now is pretty easy, and not hard to figure out. This would be easier, but in my opinion the current friend system makes more sense. I see a few people posting about this quite often, I wouldn't mind if this got added, but it doesn't affect me if it doesn't. For that reason, +0.5 Thanks,
Hey, I agree that doing /f would be more ideal than typing out /friend. Problem with this is that it would clash with faction commands as it requires the command /f (instruction) to perform faction based commands.
Well, I guess Factions players will be typing out /friend, then. One subserver shouldn't be the reason an important change is implemented, imo.
i rhink this is a great idea as its been suggested before in dif ways.. as the faction thing has already been mentioned.. most faction and friend commands dont collide w/ eachother.. w/ exception of "/friend list" and "/f list" and maybe some other one so...
Hey! I think this is a good idea, it would be easier for players to add friends. However, i think its unnecessary at the moment, they should focus on greater problems. I think there is no need first of all but the thing is that /f is used in factions and I don't think they are going to mess up factions as well as friends because they would have to make a new faction command and change the old friend's command but I don't again think it is need its a good short cut but no need.
