    Hi all!

    So as I'm sure you all know, MCC gets a lot of hate because of a few reasons:

    -the anti-cheat
    -staff members
    -staff not listening to the community

    First of all, I'm sure making an anti-cheat isn't easy and with the amount of complaint the staff team has gotten about the anti-cheat, it is obvious they're aware it isn't the best it can be, but that doesn't mean the server is bad just from 1 thing.

    Second, the Staff Team is actually really good - if there is a bad staff member they will be dealt with appropriately. But I haven't seen 1 player who hasn't been punished by a staff member call the staff team bad. If you've been punished by a staff member, it's just them doing their job - there's no need to start hating on them for serving justice to you when you've broken a rule.
    I made a thread a long time ago here talking about how people should appreciate staff more.

    And finally, staff absolutely do listen to the community. If anything, they engage with us too. Take skyblock for an example, there actually was a thread made by Alex asking for all of our suggestions and ideas for the skyblock update. You can also see staff members engaging on the forums sharing ideas and opinions on suggestions.

    But there's also the fact some people don't realise all staff members aren't owners. What I mean by this is not all staff have the power to randomly stirrup a new anti-cheat or force a minigame update or instantly add suggestions, we've got to keep in mind that things take time and we should appreciate MCC for what it already has.

    MCC has many many great things to it.

    Personally, I really think the community is good. Yes, there are always bad things to everything including the community but still, there are so many genuine friendly and helpful people that you can meet. There is always something for you to do, there are many amazing subservers and minigames.

    I completely agree with you. Sometimes theres players going really harsh on staff for something they can't do like get an anti cheat or implement ideas. And i've realised that players who are staff currently were not staff before and most people didn't go harsh or anything on them. However, now i see that when they became staff there was alot of cruelty towards them.
    Lastly, i personally like skywars and alot of the sub servers which are skyblock, prison and factions. I don't play kit pvp that often because i get quickied in 6 minutes haha

    I've seen this post so many times lol but yeah I agree apart from the anticheat. Jeremy has had YEARS to make the anticheat and he still hasn't completed it. rumors have circled about Alex purchasing a premium subscription to an anticheat though, and others are saying he's building one himself. since the skyblock reset is now I suspect the minigame revamp along with a new anticheat is coming in about august. I've already said this multiple times but I know Alex and Jeremy know about this hacker problem and they are just putting it off and putting resets and other stuff ahead of it. they know hacked clients now can easily bypass this anticheat (some have settings specifically made for MCC bypassing) and it's just embarrassing to be honest...

    The anti-cheat really needs to be fixed. I 100% agree with you on that as there are just so many cheaters (especially in skywars) - it's such a pain!

    Heyyy. I agree with you so much. The staff team is trying there best to make the MCC community as fun as possible. They get so much hate for just being staff and they do not deserve it at all. Its also hard to make everyone happy with changes to the server at the end of the day you cant make everyone happy all you can do is listen to what majority of the people want and go from there. They do the best they can with what they got.

    Thank you for making this post. It really does show the full scale of a staff member and their abilities.
    To add to what you said, a lot of people forget that staff members volunteer to be staff to help the server and community. Without staff, the server would be filled with more rule-breakers and more disruption of the server causing a huge community to be denser with the server then they already are. I'm not saying this because I am staff, this is generally what I believe.

    I agree with this apart from, the anti-cheat. As the anti-cheat can be very beneficial it can also cause many problems, such as: Hit ditection being worse, causing more lag, and can possibly false ban legit players. I also agree with what you said about players complaining about a bad staff member, however not all the staff are inadequate. Many players also accuse staff members of false punishing, or abusing their permissions when they're simply doing their job. Thank you, and have a wonderful rest of your day/night.

    Hey there! I'm open to all opinions but for the staff listening to the community, I'm not sure if you read but I listed an example (regarding the Skyblock reset) that shows Alex is actually encouraging suggestions to listen to.

    I've played this server since 2014. I have seen it go through its ups and downs, I'm not saying the server is perfect but there are definitely more pros than cons.
