I deleted and restarted my channel to get an active fan base actually do some research before making claims like that please. And kitpvp has a high search term and doesn't change the fact that he already had a following from the games he played.. Don't try to come at me rigbot told me what he did to get to 5k so everything I said was completely correct.
As someone that is currently at around 1,100 subscribers on YouTube and is also consistently making content on MC-Central, I would say that the 5,000 subscriber requirement is OK. It should not be changed because of how little a 1,000 subscriber channel, or even a 3,000 subscriber channel would make to the server. What should be talked about, is the REQUIREMENT FOR MAKING CONTENT AS A YOUTUBER. As we know, there are multiple people with the YouTuber rank that DON'T EVEN PLAY ON MC-CENTRAL. (Not talking about the people who exclusively upload factions... but it's ONLY factions in that regard) I feel that the uploads on MC-Central should be tracked more regularly. If a YouTuber is NOT uploading on this server. They should NOT have YouTuber rank.
If exposure/attraction is what McCentral is looking for their server, I don't necessarily think that Subscribers should be the main requirement as they're easy to bot or just have a bunch of inactive subscribers. But more so base it off daily average views (which can be easily tracked on SocialBlade) that way you can really see how many players that certain Content Creator attracts to their channel "True Fan Base" ie: A YouTuber with 10K subscribers could be attracting the same amount of players with a channel with 100 Subs and Vice Versa.
@Other English people and other people from different nationalities do play on the server although it is more Brazilian/American based. But the requirement is too high for any average youtuber who is just playing on mcc and getting their subscribers legitimately. The requirements for the youtuber rank are hard to obtain and once obtained, it isn't taken away from you, meaning any youtuber who has received the youtube rank doesn't need to upload mcc content anymore. This leaves the hard-working smaller channels trying to upload more to slowly increase in subscribers. I also feel that the youtube perks are useless except for the tag, they should give youtubers /nick or some other commands as having the same as immortal doesn't do much as most youtubers who already play on the server have the immortal rank meaning they only have the new addition of the tag.
Minecraft Central is a massive server. I don't want the server to be flooded with youtubers, since 1k is a very small amount. I think they should change how they review the channels, since they're very strict towards past things you've done.
I feel the requirements are fine as they want people to try to work for the rank and not give it to everyone with a small channel. The point of wanting the youtuber rank is to get awareness to the server through youtube which is a great way to get exposure. the rank is meant for people that have worked there butt off to get where they are on youtube and they deserver an award for it, its not for everyone that deciedes to post a youtube vid.
Yo, First of all, thanks for taking the time out of your day to respond to my thread. However, you clearly don't understand that the youtubers won't work for a rank that they can't achieve just posting MCC content. Minecraft central itself is a small server and they have a higher sub count requirement than their player base which logically makes no sense. Yes, they want the youtubers to play the server and spread the server's name across youtube, but majority of their subscribers and viewers come from the MCC community already. Also, you clearly don't know how many youtubers put hard work into their so called "small" channels editing and putting quality content out for the community only to quit MCC youtube because they're literally getting nothing out of it. No one gets a YT rank that makes them stand out and earn the recognition they deserve from the community after putting hours of work on their channels because of a sub count that is literally impossible to earn by just posting MCC content alone. Honestly, I feel like you don't even own a YT channel yourself because the way you just worded everything makes you sound ignorant to all other factors. I didn't want this to come out in a rude way, but that's just the way I feel about your opinion. Have a good one. - Pxrge
To get youtube rank you don’t need to post only MCC. You can post videos on different servers, grow a fan base, do what you want with you’re channel. Grow by doing collabs with other people and exploring different community’s. The limit should be 5k and I don’t think it’s really a lot if you put in the factors of having a YouTube channel and grinding for it if you really want it. Besides, youtube rank isn’t really nothing on MCC but immortal rank with a red text saying youtube. All you are doing is standing out from the crowd. Should stay 5k, my opinion though. Edit: Spelling mistake
