See, now once again you proceeded to blame administration for everything in that thread. No. We have nothing to do with it, so the logic from the "because fortunately I am well aware of how this server operates" is not valid due to the fact that the only thing in that list that they mentioned that administration can fix, would be the reports requirements for application team. That is it. Everything else would need to be directed elsewhere because no staff member including admins have no control over any of that. That is why I responded in the way I did. You once again proceeded to blame administration. Administration is here to manage the staff team for Alex_Markey, and help decide on rules as a group. Sometimes it's difficult because we all think differently. We do it just fine. Let me say it again. Administration is here to manage the STAFF team, as well as server rules. Anyones problems when it comes to the server entirety is wasting their time blaming the staff members.
So Teddzy, Timpalli, Swaggle & yourself have no real effect on the future of the server other than rules changes? If that's true, then this server really has more issues than I imagined. The fact that you're saying that after many years of being a staff member, and having the highest obtainable rank you still can't make meaningfull corechanges to certain gamemodes/subs is mind-boggling at best. In that case, Big Man Markey needs to turn his ship around.
Nobody here stated that we can't voice our opinions towards alex. Staff members make tickets on ideas for the server and they are gone through by us and alex every single week. If you can find when I said that admins can't voice opinions or grant ideas, I would leave this thread alone. Until then, this case is dismissed.
You're right. "opinion heard" was a poor choice of words. I have since edited the post. Regardless, the issues outlined by Ustema are very important, and they will need to be fixed if Markey has any chance of saving MCC.
I applied for staff because I had always wanted to, I liked being a person who could potentially help you. I had a great time, but unfortunately my "want" to play Minecraft has significantly decreased, therefore making my experience less enjoyable.
While I'm here, I figured I may as well share my staff experience and join the train. I was staff back in 2019 for I think 2 years. I will admit, it got tiring at times. I was helper for too long which came with it's own difficulties. As most people considered, I nearly resigned but I persisted to climbing the ranks. I eventually became moderator. I'm sure many ex and current staff know how tiring and boring being mod for so long can be. For some, this rank is the end of their staff 'lives' and for the fortunate few who manage to get promoted to senior or admin, well yea. Being staff in general was full of different experiences, you meet new people and make lasting friendships. It's good when you're able to make friends who stick with you even after you resign. I was fortunate enough to be promoted to senior. Yea it was fun but at the end of the day, Minecraft itself wasn't that exciting anymore. Going on every day for hours on end became very repetitive and the people who used to make it fun and exciting began to leave and move onto bigger things. The staff experience is a damn rollercoaster. One moment you could be best friends with everyone then next moment you have enemies. I wish I could personally say it was worth it but... I hardly talk to any of those 'friends' from while I was staff. I definitely made some great memories and met some amazing people but at the end of the day, it does get boring and old. Leaving MCC and Minecraft in general, although in the beginning felt like a lose, you soon learn that there's bigger and better things in life outside a sever that's slowly dying. It is what it is. Staff is honestly just what you decide to make of it.
