You see, I've been playing prisons for a bit, and the chat is always going on about scammers. It sucks and it's annoying, but I think it is a part of prisons for a good reason. Scammers are pretty easy to avoid if you know your stuff and are smart about it. Once you get scammed, people tend to not get scammed again. Many people in the prisons community also try to help others avoiding being scammed and there are plots like /p h help, that give you plenty of tips to avoid scammers. I just wanna see if anyone else has an opinion on this
I agree that there's a lot of scammers and many ways to avoid being scammed, but i've been playing prison every season (about over 4 years) and i still manage to get scammed every season. js. would also like to point out that plots that try to expose other scams have scams in them :) i applaud you for taking the time to write out this post and help out the community w/ prison scammers have a lovely day! ~Puposaurus
Prison has been like that forever, and most players fail to realize that, and they also fail to realize to tell what's legit and what isn't. I 100% agree that there's ways to avoid getting scammed/death trapped. As Puposaurus said, there have people who have made "Scam boards" where they list popular or any scammers at all. I appreciate this post since this could help out newer players to Prison or people who are struggling to deal with scamming or constantly getting scammed. Have a lovely day/night!
I personally love the ideology behind the prison server. It basically goes against the basic moral rules of Minecraft and ENCOURAGES players to scam others and be the most deceitful player. The better you are at lying and being clever, the better you do. Without the ability to scam in prison, it would simply be survival with a warp mine instead of a regular overworld. Hopefully players see this thread and stop trying to ban people for scamming on prison haha. Have a nice day/night! -Zguy2000
I think scamming in prison is very fitting tbh like we are in prison people who go to jail are usually bad people so why is it other believe prison should be a clean society? Yes scamming is annoying but you learn from it and move on. The more careful you get and the more you learn the more you can realize what’s real and isn’t. People get scammed because of their ignorance and it’s honestly a pretty good depiction of real life itself. People will use you until they can’t anymore so all this scamming n death trapping is just a part of the dangerous life of a jail and I like it :/ ~Micro
