Why can't I see my effects?

    I bought all the effects a few years back and forgot about them, but now I want to use them but I can't see them. I enabled each one, but I can't see a single one. Is there something I'm missing?

    Have you looked at your Minecraft settings? Particles might be disabled. Take a look in your video settings. If that doesn't help then I'm not sure. I hope this does!

    I looked in my settings but it hasn't done anything. I'm honestly so confused.

    If it's not your settings then it's probably your texture pack, but if that doesn't work then I don't know how to help you.

    Ok, I fixed it. There was a mod on BAC that turns of particles. Thanks for the help though.
