Build an apple farm. It may not seem that good but you can make a lot of money off apples. If you are a donator the you have access to /warp dmine. Which you can use to get gold blocks and turn your apples to enchanted golden apple. Which sell for more than normal apples.
Hey Aj! In my previous seasons of playing Prisons, I have seen this method work very efficiently. Though, I'd only recommend using it starting in the middle of the season and going to the end. Why? Well, the economy of course. The economy increases by so much that golden apples could sell for 5 grand at the start of a season and work its' way up to 50 grand at the end of it. Another tip I have for apple farming is to use a ranked pickaxe whilst mining at the leaves. Ranked pickaxes, recommended to use Bedrock, Legend, or Immortal ones, have a high level of Fortune. The Immortal pickaxe has a level of 10 and it's the best pickaxe to use whilst tree farming. Fortune will increase your chances of earning apples therefore the higher the fortune, the more the apples! If you aren't a Donator, you can always head over to the regular mines, and going from mine J to mine U, you will be able to find Gold Ore which can then be smelted in furnaces and then crafted into gold blocks. It takes time and dedication but it'll pay off in the end. In the future, Aj, I suggest making a thread about how new players can earn money but in different ways and not only using the technique of Apple Farming! A few ideas could be grinding your /kit pickaxe and getting loads of tokens to, therefore, sell them towards the middle of the season as they'll sell for much more, as they currently do! Or having mod grinders. When you've started off, mob grinders are the best way to earn the max amount of cash! Have a good day!
I do believe that building an apple farm mid-season is a good idea, but it's not the most helpful tip you could give to a new player. If I had to give a few tips It'd be to 1. use the up-gradable pickaxe from /kit pickaxe, 2. don't do /cf because you will lose money unless you are very lucky or are cfing someone who has a substantially lower amount of money than you that you will profit off of them after many tries, 3. never bring any of your good loot into /warp pvp unless you intend to die. 4. and try to join a gang. The up-gradable pickaxe is a good idea because it is essentially like a mob spawner box. The more spawners you put into it (in this case how many blocks your mine and how many points you put into each category on the pickaxe), the more efficient and more valuable your box will become. This is also a great tip because it only cost 10 tokens to repair, which is a good deal because you don't have to spend $$ like you would buying another pickaxe. My second tip about /cfing is good because even though you have a 50% chance of winning that cf, it's not worth losing the money you grinded for. If you won that cf, good job for you, but most of the time you get the short end of the stick and end up losing (like me lol). My third tip was to not bring anything valuable into /warp pvp. This is a no brainer for progressing in Prisons because you want to hold onto your valuable items instead of losing them. If you bring a level 44 Up-gradable pickaxe into PvP, you're probably going to get targeted by many gangs. This leads up to my final tip which would be to join a gang. This isn't just good for progressing in Prisons, but also meeting new people and having more fun. You could also benefit from gang storages and rich gang members who can help you out in your times of need. Overall, these are the main tips I'd give a person who is trying to start out Prisons. In my opinion like I said in the beginning, apple farming is for a PvPer, or good for money mid-season (It's good for a new players to know how to make money without selling apples/gapps, because next season when it resets they'll be clueless on how to progress as a player.)
