So much information to take in. From my experience, I have played MCC for like 2 years. I did find some enjoyment in playing Survival, Murder Mayhem, and CTF. But I also have plenty of criticism of other players behaviors/actions, but more importantly the "leadership/development team". By leadership and development team, I mean those who maintain the servers and moderate and add new features. I have some important points to make --Users knowing what the priority of the lead/dev team is very important. Too often I see replies of "they have other priorities too". But clearly if someone makes a broad/generalizing post (not necessarily this one) with the main idea being "they don't care about X and Y", then the user who created the post is likely to be uninformed of the actually priorities of the leadership development team. Being uninformed of lead/dev priorities could be the fault of the user or the lead/dev team or both. Now I can look up the recent postings/activities of AlexMarkey easily, but that is innefficient when I am trying to know the exact priorities of the lead/dev team of a particular game. I don't want a bunch of users (doesn't matter if its a moderator/helper/etc) explaining the priorities as replies to posts because that causes miscommunication. Instead have ONE thread on the updates and PLANS for each section of the game/server/bugs/fourm/etc. I have seen so many posts asking for updates for Capture the flag (CTF), for a long period of time and there has not been any major updates to CTF. I accept that the lead/dev team has priorities and needs to put some things to the backburner. Why not just say "We do not plan to implement any updates or feature additions for game X for the next few months"? How does the lead/dev team communicate their priorities with the users/players with regards to each game/feature/aspect? --Transparency is necessary. AlexMarkey, you can't just work hard and just produce more. AlexMarkey if you believe that you care more about your staff and workers than the money, then you should tell us how much money you are earning from this server. Transparency could be showing statistics such as profit, , results from surveys, popularity over time, last time of feature update of a minigame. Where are those statistics and information? --Every team, business, company, organization, etc should have a mission statement. It is what gets your staff to have the morale and inspiration to do their job. Fortnite, Chick fil a, Apple, Microsoft, etc, has a mission statement. What is the mission statement of MCC server, MCC fourms?
mini games especially cakewars i felt it had been neglected (sorry but i haven't played mcc or minecraft in a while, in case if you tell me that cakewars got removed)
Maybe it's cause you don't make real money on minigames. Factions resets give you a crap ton of money every month or so. Everyones buying these reset packs and what not every 30 days -it's like a subscription plan that keeps money coming in. Minigames on the other hand has no monetization similar to that. Just a thought.
