Here are a few suggestions I have seen floating around survival over the last few years of playing that could be good additions to the server: Firstly i have seen so many players quit playing right after dying and losing their stuff, I suggest giving rookies temp use of the /back command right after dying maybe for the next 10 mins to give them a chance to get their stuff back. That way its still useful to buy a rank to get unlimited access to /back and will help keep the server populated. Make it so villagers and friendly mobs(cows, sheep, bees, turtles etc) have their own toggle in /claim perms as atm if you have mob killing turned on but pet killing turned off, other players can still kill your villagers and friendly mobs. For example i have mob killing turned off so people cant grief my villagers at my shop, but this means if any hostile mobs get in, players cant defend them selves. Make enchant books a reward from keys like Fortune 4 instead of just a fortune 4 Pickaxe as it would be useful to add Fortune 4 to hoes to increase drops on saplings which are always in high demand on survival. Also add Looting 4 to make myth sword better. This is a simple one - Make it so players cant take saplings/flowers out of flower pots in claims. At the moment no /claim perms seem to protect them from being looted by untrusted players This one has caused more arguments on the server than anything lol but lots of people suggested making the random events/simon says happen at more random times to stop people just logging on, winning and then going back to a different server. I think i saw someone suggest this in the discord and it had over 30 votes to like 4 downvotes. Maybe keep the challenges on a rough timeplan but say they happen at a random time over the hour they would normally happen in. I.e instead of starting at bang on 3pm, it happens anywhere between 3 and 4pm. Now to make the server more fun for returning players maybe look to add things like: Rewards for leveling jobs e.g every 10 job levels you get a reward like in prison when you level up your cellmate. Could be things like money/ claim blocks etc and then a better reward like event keys for getting to the highest levels. Add in daily/weekly/monthly community challenges that everyone can chip away at with rewards like tokens people can use to spin a wheel of fortune at spawn to get buffs/rewards. Could also double this up with rewards for leveling jobs - get tokens to spin the wheel. Now i know this is alot to read so sorry about that. Just lots of ideas ive seen in chat over the years.
