    - Survival Season 9.0 - Guide to Claiming -

With Survival Season 9.0 just recently launching, one of the bigger changes that happened was the removal of plots. This may be a bitter taste for big survival players, however with plots removed, came in another way of building which was claims. This thread will be a quick guide on how to claim land + some common commands that are used. Most of the information from this thread will be found in these videos about claims and towns so go check them out if you are having trouble with it even after reading this thread.

    Creating your claim

If you would like to first create your own claim from scratch, you must have a gold shovel, which was already kindly provided for us to use. As you guys already know you increase claim size by the hour and by voting. But to get started. here is what to do:

    1. Right click the start of your claim. Once you do that you will see a diamond block and that marks the start of your claim.
    2. Go to an opposite corner of your claim that you wish to use and right click that. Just as a reminder if you don't have 100 blocks, you will get this message in chat. However if you go over 100 blocks you will notice a corner with two gold blocks and a glowstone and those mark the edges of your claim.

If you would like to EXPAND your claim, it is just as easy. Simply right click one of your corners and go out a little bit further and right click where you would like to expand your claim.

Also keep in mind, as it was described in the video that was provided, as soon as you place down a chest it will automatically create a claim for you that you then can work off of. Another thing to mention is that if you would like to know if anybody else has claimed land, take out a stick, right click and if you notice any edges in the area that you clicked on, then that area is claimed.
/abandonclaim - Abandons any claim that you wish to abandon
/trust <player> - giving a player access to build in your claim
/untrust <player> - removing the players permissions to build in your claim
/containertrust <player> - allow players to have access to your chests/furnaces in your claim, but not allowing them to build in your claim
/accesstrust <player> - allow players to access your home but not belongings
/trustlist - view list of who is trusted in your claim
/claimslist - view coordinates of all your claims

    Trust Commands

Now if you notice when you do /trustlist you will see a list of colour coded arrows. If you couldn't already tell, when you run one of the /trust commands listed above, the players IGN will be listed under which one you choose. Down below are some examples:

Thank you all for reading. If you have any questions about claiming feel free to add me on discord Toronto#0002 however like I mentioned there are two videos that I linked above that explain it very well. If there is something to add onto this thread I will make sure to do that. Anyways, have fun during this season!
