Would you believe that another 8 months have passed since the release of our last Survival Reset! The time has come once again for us to revisit this subserver, and give it the attention it deserves! This upcoming season of Survival involves some very deep changes to many of our plugins, something we have been wanting to do for a long time now!

    Season 7 Information:
Next season of Survival will be our 7th Season. This upcoming season is scheduled to be launching this coming Friday, 1st November 5pm Central Time. A live countdown for the reset can be viewed Here. The live countdown will also convert the reset time to your timezone to assist with planning (as we all know how tedious it is attempting to convert another timezone to your own)!

    Upcoming Changes:
Like always with the reset, we will be pushing as much new content and fixes as possible. After taking statistics throughout the past Survival season, and listening to feedback on our forums, we believe the time has come for Survival to finally be updated to a proper 1.12 backend. Through statistics which we have taken, majority of our Survival playerbase already run a Minecraft Version which is higher than 1.8. It only makes sense to give these players the content that their clients allow! (1.8 - 1.11 clients will still be able to play the server, however we do not reccomend it).

    What does this mean?
Survival on Minecraft Central has never updated beyond 1.8 backend (All of our servers currently run on a 1.8 backend, the only exception is Creative which is also 1.12). Updating the backend of our server, whilst is a very big change and will introduce some teething issues for our plugins, will bring with it a boat load of new content. For the longest time, these later versions of Minecraft were unstable, and servers had many issues with them, however they are now at a stage where things are very stable. Any server version beyond 1.12 is still too unstable, so we will not be updating beyond 1.12 at this point in time.
