Ever since the transition from mineral currency to the current economy the focus of what should be done on a Survival Server hasn’t been quite the same. In Survival 3.0 Cacti Farms was where our focus was. In Survival 4.0 Manual Farms was where our focus was. In Survival 5.0 Spawner Farms was where our focus was. Why you might ask? Simply because these were the best ways to making profit. It’s time to put an end to all that and bring back the meaning of Survival. What's the meaning you might be asking? There is none. It’s up to us to choose what we wish to do in this unique sandbox game and for too long has the past economy shifted our focus to primarily one aspect of infinite possibilities. Today marks a new age for Survival with the release of Survival 6.0! In this season let your imagination be you’re barrier to what you can accomplish because no matter what you choose to do, it’s profits are balanced with all other methods so that you can focus on what truly matters, the original gameplay.

With the release of Survival 6.0 many previous methods of making money have been adjusted as well as new ways of making money have been added. In doing so this guide will explain all the best ways of making money, what each method is, how to accomplish each method, how much profit each method makes, which method is best suitable for you, and much more. Keep in mind this guide is primarily covering how to make profit therefore to find a guide all about what MCC Survival Plots is and what it has to offer click here.

Mining: Venture out to the depths of caves and mine ores to sell to /shop. Mining requires little setup to make profit which makes it a great method for those who do not wish to spend time with setup before producing profit.

Note: Based upon 40 minutes of mining.
Note: Requires a Silk Pickaxe. Only ores can be sold in order to prevent exploiting.
Note: X-Ray is detectable by staff members and is bannable. Do not risk it.
Tip: Use Efficiency VI Pickaxe for fastest possible mining. Part of the Efficiency VI Tool Set found in Mythical Keys. Purchase Mythical Keys here.
Tip: Emerald Ore most common in Extreme Hills Biome.
Tip: Increase your Gamma to 1000 to avoid wasting time on torches. View how to do so here.
Tip: Mine in layers 5-29 to find most rare ores.
Tip: Strip mining and finding ores in caves/ravines are great strategies.

Fishing: Fishing is a new way to make money this season. The great thing about fishing is it is the easiest way to make money no matter your rank. All it requires is a fishing rod to get started. Perfect for rookies and beginners.
Fish TypeRaw FishRaw SalmonPuffer FishClown Fish
    Average Profit Every 40 Minutes$20,550.00$22,600.00$22,500,00$15,000.00
Total Average Profit Every 40 Minutes: $80,650.00
Note: AFK Fish Farms are disabled as it is not how the game should be played.
Note: AFK Fish Clients are bannable and are detectable. Do not risk it!
Tip: Use a Lure III and Unbreaking III fishing rod to maximize the amount of fish caught.
Tip: Rain shortens wait time by 20% therefore fish at the resource world to catch fish faster.

Wood Cutting: Become a Lumberjack and chop away! Wood Cutting is great for those who wish to get straight into making profit as all you need is an axe to get started. In addition, Wood Cutting is a more steady sustainable source of income compared to Mining or Fishing since it is not based upon probability of finding an ore or catching a fish.
Wood TypeOak WoodSpruce WoodBirch WoodJungle WoodAcacia WoodDark Oak Wood
    Average Profit$86,100.00$85,600.00$86,100.00$85,600.00$84,882.00$85,600.00
Total Average Profit Every 40 Minutes: $85,600.00
    Tip:
Dark, Jungle and Spruce Wood are the easiest to collect large quantities of.
Tip: Use Efficiency an V or VI Axe to obtain wood faster.

Manual Farming: If you're willing to take on the task of farming, it requires setup and resources but it pays off by producing a bit more profit compared to other methods as a result for your're hard work. Make sure to use a Harvest Hoe to take full advantage of this method!

    Farm CropNether WartPumpkinMelonCarrotSugar CanePotatoWheatCocoa Beans
    Average Profit Per Layer$6,247.50$7,140.00$8,337.50$9,985.80$6,655.50$10,266.30$8,991.50$7,344.00
Total Average Profit Every 40 Minutes: $95,089.50 (Using Harvest Hoe on Carrots/Potatoes)
Total Average Profit Every 40 Minutes: $89,860.00 (Using Axe on Melons)
Note: On average a layer regrows in 40 minutes.
Note: Only 10 layers are needed. When you are done harvesting the tenth layer, the first layer has regrown and is ready to be harvested again.
Note: Takes about 4 minutes to harvest each layer.
Note: Farm Size should be no more than 51x51x40.
Tip: Build underground so that you can use the top of your plot to build anything of your choice!
Tip: Build in rows to increase growth rate which reduces growth time! Example Setup can be found here.
Tip: A Schematic file for the best farm design will be available soon!

Spawners: If you despise manual labor on a Survival server then an afk method is your next best choice. Although it comes at a very large cost by producing 6 times less profit than any manual labor method so keep this in mind. This season a max of 150 spawners can be placed per plot.

    Mob TypeCreeperMagma CubeSheepSpiderSkeletonCowBlazeZombieRabbitPigChickenSlimeSquid
    Average Daily Profit$541,209$235,924$238,378$291,600$383,070$315,740$1,627,776$305,690$94,352$191,411$71,453$365,645$285,659
Total Average Profit Every 24 Hours: $541,209.60 (Using Creepers)
Note: Data in table for 150 spawners being afked daily (24 hours).
Note: Best Spawners for AFK farms will cost a total of $15,000,000.
Note: Will take about 28 days to regain the purchase price of spawners.
Note: Blaze Spawners can not be used in an AFK Farm and must be manually killed.
Tip: Creeper Spawners are the best for Profit while Blaze is the best for loot.
Tip: Blaze Spawners are the fastest way to obtain XP and their Blaze Rods are great for furnace fuel.

Cacti Farms: If you despise manual labor on a Survival server then this is another afk method as your next best choice. Once again keep in mind this comes at a very large bargain by producing less profit than any manual labor method but this time by only 5 times less. Although, Cacti Farms require resources and time to build and as a result will reward you by producing more profit than spawner farms will. Cacti Farms are great for those who do not wish to spend money before making profit on an afk method unlike spawner farms.
    Underground Farm Daily Profit (51x51x64)$150,000.00
Full Plot Size Farm Daily Profit (51x51x256)$725,000.00
Total Average Profit Every 24 Hours: $725,000.00 (Using 51x51x256)
Note: It is recommended to build the underground design so that you leave space to build other things above.
Note: Building a 51x51x256 Cacti Farm will take 24 hours to complete.
Note: 25 minutes to build each layer.
Note: Building a 51x51x64 Cacti Farm underground allows you to build other stuff on your plot. (5 hour build)
Note: A 51x51x256 Cacti Farm will require 566 Stacks of Cobblestone, 566 Stacks of Sand, 295 Stacks of Cobblestone fences.
Tip: Use Sell Wands to sell Cacti.
Tip: An efficient Cacti Farm setup can be found here. (Use Slabs instead for better efficiency)

PvP: Enter the arena and fight against one another to claim victory. This season the profit per kill has been increased to $1,000 per kill for ranks while $500 for rookies! This will now give a much better incentive to pvp and allow those who only pvp to not have to worry about other ways of making money.

Every 40 min: $90,000 (Donor Ranks)
    Every 40 min: $45,000 (Rookies)
Note: Account Grinding for stats or the money from kills is not allowed and is bannable. This includes letting friends kill you over and over or abusing /back. This will be heavily monitored by me and other staff members. We have increased it to benefit the pvp community so please do not account grind as it may even lead to decreasing the amount of profit players can receive per kill. If you see someone account grinding help the community out and report them here.
Note: Zombie Pigman Spawners have been removed due to flooding the economy with gold which in turn was used to create gapples. This will allow pvp to be much more skilled based.
Tip: Creating Pot Brewers for Speed II and Strength II is recommended.

Shops: Selling items immediately to /Shop is great for instant transactions, although creating a store so that other players can purchase items allow players to make more profit. The downsides are transactions are not instant, you must setup a store requiring resources, and there will be competition. With the economy entirely revamped from the ground up the prices that items sell for have entirely changed. You can view the new prices of items here. Learn how to create a chest shop here.

Quests: Quests are daily, weekly, and monthly challenges players can complete for money. Each type of quests come in a set of 3 while daily gives $2,000 each, weekly giving $15,000 each, and Monthly giving $40,000 each. Do all quests every month to obtain $468,000 monthly. Quest rewards should be thought of as a bonus reward for accomplishing tasks you probably already are doing on a typical basis like simply eating to refill hunger to mining.

Boss Event: This season the updated Boss Event from Sky Block is what's being used. Get first place to get the boss key or 2nd-5th for money.

Coin Flips: Test your luck with a flip of a coin. You can flip anywhere from $1,000-$100,000 each round! Coin flips require no effort which makes it one of the easiest ways to obtain money, although it should not be considered a sustainable source of income.

Chest Envoys: Feeling lucky? Claim an envoy to receive one of the following prizes at random: 32 Hoppers, Diamond Helmet (Protection 4), Diamond Chestplate (Prot 4), Diamond leggings (Prot 4), Diamond boots (prot 4), 256 EXP Bottles, Diamond Sword (Sharpness 4), God Apple x5, $10,000, $20,000, $30,000, Random Spawner, Sell Wand, 64 Iron, 64 Diamonds, 64 Emeralds.

Treasure Chest: Open creates to receive all types of amazing rewards.
