    Sub-Team Information + FAQ

This thread is going to list every subteam there is, give a description of the team and list a few common questions asked about them. All these sub-teams are for staff only and community members cannot apply to be part of it! (I know there will always be that one person that will ask this question)

You can apply for regular staff at https://mccentral.org/community/forums/apply/

These are staff members that are fully dedicated to Factions. Compared to regular staff, they only need to do their minutes on Factions and have access to issue faction warnings and deal with other faction issues. They still have access to the same commands and have to do the same amount of minutes except only on Factions.

You can apply for Factions Staff here

    FAQ
No, they have the same permissions / prefix's as regular staff members

Yes, but you would have to apply through the forums using the Factions Staff Application

Yes! Regular staff are able to issue punishments on Factions and still have a minute requirement to do on Factions. (Just much less than Factions Staff)

Yes! Factions Staff get their permissions/abilities globally

This team is made of Senior Moderators and all the Administrators. Their job is to process Helper Applications that are sent in daily, interview and observe potential Helpers and welcome community members onto the staff team. There is a big process that happens behind the scenes from background checks to observations and this team is responsible to make sure everything goes smoothly and each applicant is fairly processed. This is why applications can take up to a few weeks before hearing a response.

    FAQ
Not exactly. All the team members vote and it's a long process. Once all members have agreed then one of them is allowed to accept your application.

Yes! If an application does not meet the requirements or is downvoted by the team, any member can instantly deny it with a detailed rejection message

Yes! They apply using a special form and the team leader decides if they need any new members to join

This is a VERY small sub-team that has close connections to the Owners to discuss any bugs/glitches. They not only report bugs to the Owners but also handle false kick codes via the Bug Report section and they also give feedback on Minigames and Sub-Servers and what stuff should get fixed/added. The reason it is kept small because the server is developed and maintained by only 2 people (the owners) and having too many staff on this team will cause chaos and make the Owners jobs even more difficult.

    FAQ
No! This team is invite only

Not necessarily but it is a bonus if you understand Spigot mechanisms and know-how servers work.

The Mentor Team is responsible for watching over the Helpers and Moderators. Their job is to welcome and train newly promoted Helpers and Moderators. They also are in charge of deciding if their mentee is up for a promotion at the end of the Helper trial. This team actually decides all Moderator promotions and can give feedback on Senior Moderator promotions. This is the only team that has the power to give out infractions to Helpers & Moderators and notify their mentee if they are given any or are being demoted.

    FAQ
No! This team is invite only

No! Senior Moderators do not have a mentor and are controlled by the Admins.

No! Moderator promotion is a team decision. The Mentor Team actually get into a call a few hours before promotions and vote on who should get Moderator.

The Review Team is in charge of giving Helpers and Moderators their reviews. They are also in charge of making sure all the Helpers & Moderators complete their reviews on time and do not miss their due dates.

    FAQ
Yes! They apply using a special form and the team leader decides if they need any new members to join

A review is a hack detection test. It is used to see if a Moderator is able to detect hacks properly. Helpers must also take reviews as it is one of the factors that is taken into consideration when deciding Moderator promotions.

There are no punishments for failing a review; however, constantly failing reviews in a row can lead to having your permission to ban revoked or possibly a demotion
