Hello Alex Markey, I don't mean to be a bother Mr. Markey, but I was told by a friend that there is an upcoming reset that's going to take place in Prisons. Hearing that even plots would be reset, the entire chat was outraged. We have spent hours building our plots and if it's just going be swept away after every reset, then frankly, I don't want to play on the server anymore. People are protesting and going on strike. They aren't going to be buying anything from the server if their hard work is just going to be erased. I hope you can make time to read this and think about how this reset is going to affect the several hundred players that play on this great server. If you'd like to reach me, please pm me on discord. Every sub-server has reset at least once, this is nothing new. Resetting everything and starting fresh over is pretty normal with sub-servers. If it were to never reset then things would just get stale and boring, as everyone would eventually hit the top ranks and have no further to progress. The same few people would completely dominate /baltop, if there would be no reset then no one would have a chance to catch up. Also just a bit of advice, unless alex himself or a staff member says there is going to be a reset soon, I wouldn't believe a word of it. It's likely just rumors.
I understand what you're saying but what if they could do their reset while at the same time not touching the players' plots. Also, there is a reset every season.
If they didn't reset plots then there would be no point in even resetting. Everyone with spawners would keep their spawners, so the people on /baltop right now would immediately shoot back up to the top. Everything you ever make on the server will be stored on a plot (aside from ender chest), so it would be pointless to not clear them.
Hey! So here are my thoughts. I agree they shouldn’t completely reset our hard worked on plots. But instead reset the spawners. I would honestly cry if I lost my plot. Thanks!, -LiquidAirpods
ok sir. althought htis is true, prison MUSSTSTSTSTTSTST reset because when people get more op than what it is at this time, it gets gay and it become unfun (dont care that thats not a word). as ankh already mentioned, more and more ppl would hit high rnaks. and things would start to lose value. having a fresh start is always great as much as it is kinda annoying.. >.< -1-1--1-1-1-1--1-1-1-1 i htink that plots hsould be reset since building and mining them out is what's fun. prison doesnt revolve around spawners yk :/ yeh, they are the best way to get money and almost everyone has 'em.. but prison doesnt revolve. i think restting what it resets is fine the way it is. ~PUPOSAURUAS
Hey! I see where your coming from be it needs to happen. I know many players spend hundred or thousands of hours each prison season, but its just what has to happen. New resets always bring in new content, and a well needed reset to all players. After awhile many players get bored of the same old stuff. Since these resets only happen every 6-7 months there is plenty of time to enjoy the season. If you have any question please contact me on discord which will be below!
Unfortunately, everything gets erased during a reset. (Except for perks redeemed) Ask Ankh said above, if we kept plots it would ruin the entire point of resets as everyone is meant to start from 0 - Locked | Resets always happen, but they aren't too often. Normally every 6-7+ months depending on which subserver
