I got banned for ddos threats by saying "what if I hit you off" and it was chat reported, the context of this was my friend and I were on a tree and asked my friend "what if I hit you off" as in hitting him off the damn tree, staff decide to see it as me ddos threatening my friend, so I appeal and tell them the whole context of why I said the hitting off shit, the staff that reviews my appeal says "I decided its an INAPPROPRIATE time to unpunish you." what the fuck does that even mean mate, after that statement she says, " Your ban was discussed with more than 5 people who all voted yes" so you're telling me that 5+ people (most likely staff members) think that I was ddos threatening even after giving them the context of the message. What the actual fuck is the staff team. I even said in my appeal that you could ask my friend for proof that we were on a tree and I was telling him what would he do if I hit him off the fucking tree but all the staff members decide not to ask my friend and just banned me immediately. Please for the love of fucking God fix the staff team holy shit they are horrible
Hi. I was actually the one that witnessed you saying "what if I hit you off" and I asked for recommendations from the staff team on how to proceed. It is true that 5+ staff members voted on this case, and we all came to the conclusion to ban you. In our rules, we explicitly state that even joking about DDoS threats is strictly prohibited. On the MCC network, allowing this sort of behavior would be inconsistent with the goal of creating/maintaining a friendly community. MCC does NOT tolerate DDoS threats, and even the slightest of hint to a threat is punishable to the greatest extent. Hacked Client Spam is a permanent mute and 30 day severity 3 client mod offense, whereas DDoS threats are a severity 3 gameplay offense. Also, HCS is easily recognizable since it's consistently the same messages for each client. There is a difference. Have a great day, and happy Thanksgiving.
