we really need an anticheat or just some staff online at all times because there are so many hackers playing cakewars ruining my games and everyone elses. I'm just trying to get a high place on the leaderboard and hackers just ruin it.
Hey there swxe. There will be a new anti-cheat arriving in the summer, or even sooner. As a result of COVID-19 you can expect more activity from the development team. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do to prevent the hackers before then. However, you can report players here. If you're finding that this takes too long to get a response, you can notify Staff Members that you've found a hacker in #support of the MCC Discord. You can join the discord here. Staff Members also have to moderate other sub-servers as well as minigames. You also need to take into consideration your timezone. A lot of the staff members are US, so people from EU tend to have more trouble with hackers. There isn't much that can be done about it. Hope this helps.
Hey swxe, I can see why you are annoyed with the amount of hackers in cake wars. But if you feel like there are not enough staff you could always Record and report players on the forums. That may help a bit. Or you could even apply for staff and help out :D. Have a great day. :D
Hey, i dont know if this is True or not, but i have heard rumors of a new/improved anti-cheat coming this revamp. Don't quote me on this, but I do believe an updated anti-cheat is going to be coming out soon.
I'm not sure where you heard that from but it has never been confirmed and only a rumor. What is true is that an AntiCheat is being worked on behind the scenes; the release date is unknown (A public announcement most likely would not be made if the AntiCheat was added, it would be more beneficial to be a ghost release) I understand the hacker situation is getting worse, but we have a big staff team that dedicates 4 digit numbers of minutes towards Minigames. Those hackers have VPNs and Alts that we cannot control, unfortunately; but we do ban around ~100 hackers per day. (This number was taken from the number of reports that come in roughly per day on hackers) - Locked
