Right now rookies aren't allowed to mine spawners on skyblock. Spawners should be able to be broken by everybody, regardless of their rank. This would make playing skyblock fair and easier and would make p2w less of an issue. Let me know what you think :)
Hey TeddyPrice, Whilst I wouldn't call it "p2w" (as you're not paying to win), it's definitely a case of "pay to play" where you need to pay to mine spawners. However, in saying that, there is an abundance of donators online often that would happily help a rookie mine spawners. We've made steps towards this season of making it more balanced for all players with the introduction of a 'basic hoe', which is like a harvest hoe, with reduced fortune, except free.
This measure is in place mainly to avoid players using disposable rookie accounts to take extreme value from islands, and I believe it should stay this way due to what Kieren stated about people willing to mine the spawners for somebody. There are also plenty of staff members around in the case of a rookie not trusting anyone off the street; I think it is fine how it is.
you contradict yourself, it is pay 2 win, making rookies able to mine spawners then its not pay 2 win, thats why the mccentral lost a lot of players cause its p2w and bad updates.
