Mcc monthly crates should cost $10-$15 and give you a range of things, e.g like on factions you get creeper eggs, spawners, obsidian, key(s) and tools / custom gear. It would help out on SOTW when you try and get started, and it also will help along when trying to push yourself higher into value. Not sure if anyone else agrees, but could come up with some prizes etc for other sub servers
Hey, This seems like a good idea. However people are saying that this should be some sort of subscription, however in my opinion having a free one for active players would be a good option to reward them for their time on the servers. What do you think? It would be quite hard to implement though, as some people might not play at all but they will just hog the crates as they are guaranteed to get it? So maybe a base amount of days / games you would have to play in order to earn it?
Hey cvul, There is something along the lines of this that already exists. Players with Immortal rank receive an Ancient Key each month which can be used on the sub-server of their choice. Ancient Keys give players access to a plethora of potential prizes. I'm guessing that your idea would be more of a cost-effective way for players to have access to a similar system? - Mike
Hello, As you know, Items are purchased from the MCC Store. If a person were to buy Immortal Rank, then they would have made their money back within 11 months. Most players with higher ranks player for longer than this so they would be receiving free items at that point which wouldn't be beneficial to the sever at. In doing this, the server would eventually be negative in funds. As another user said, Ancient Keys are given to those with Immortal rank every first of the month and I believe this is more than enough because they naturally build up. Seeing as ranks can be obtained without even spending IRL money (through IRL Deals). You are already in the positive for spending. The other suggested option (subscriptions) seems overall useless as with just 10-15USD you can only get keys in-game if you're wanting . It would also require you to select which sub-server you play on since spending $10 and getting items on a sub-server you don't play isn't worth anything. At this point you might as well get keys yourself and open them where you see fit.
