mcc has no anti cheat.
not the best staff
bad screenshare'ers
that leaves us with closet hackers who i know have bypassed screenshares so many times. So if MCC doesn't have good screenshare'ers then why not hire expert screenshare'ers and make a team. This would be a good idea in my opinion also because its not hard to bypass a screenshare unless you know how to do it :)
all im saying is hire some expert screenshare'ers and make a team.

This is a good idea, maybe hiring new people who know how to screenshare it would be a good process for staff to have some lessons to know how to screenshare and as you say make a screenshare sub-team and maybe the sr-mods could be responsible of teaching them how to screenshare.

Honestly. Although this would be such a good idea - it won't happen. There hasn't even been an anti-cheat yet so no way in hell will the owners/developers hire a screen sharing team. Sadly.

I do hope you're aware that if you bypass paladin and know how to conceal your cheat that there is not much an sser can do about it unless they know what you are using and how to find it specifically (unless it is not concealed well, in which case a staff could find it rather easily), and those types of connections are very difficult to acquire and constantly maintain / the aforementioned hiding may make this not even matter. There are very few ssers in the mc community that would meet the requirements for this type of role (likely less than 15), and anyone who is like that would not staff for a server unless on a salary. It is also worth noting that some forms of cheating are not even detectable because they are easily modifiable macros which don't have any trace on the computer.

Regardless of the impracticality aside, we do have an ss subsection of more experienced screensharers who offer help or providing their assistance themselves when requested.

Section 3 - Anticheat vs. Screenshare required?

While I won't deny that an ac is far too long overdue, it is in progress right now and hopefully coming soon. However, an anticheat for mcc likely only means banning blatants, which has nothing to do with closeters. I'd also like to note that in addition to the work required to not make it false for closet cheats, you would also (likely) have to account for the differences in pvp on every area of every subserver, which would be a nearly impossible task for a team, much less two people.

Section 4 - So many times?
I don't know where your metric is coming from, but I know I have personally banned a multitude of closeters and many other staff have as well. While some are certainly less experienced, that doesn't mean that a better sser can't attempt them later. If they fail, then pretty much nobody will be catching them anyways. You underestimate the power of paladin / the basic ss methods to find most things it doesn't have (since they manually add detections, some terrible autoclicker could possibly bypass if it doesn't flag the generic checks but could be easily found through other methods), and overestimate the power of most ssers in comparison to that.

In summary:
1) Anticheat has little to do with screenshares at this point in time.

2) The staff "not being that great" has little reflection of the team, and like almost any comment about staff on MCCentral, it is based off of a one time interaction with one member.

3) Hiring an elite sser or sser(s) would not only bypass and undermine the entire staff system, but the staff team as well. I would love to see their reaction to the declaration that we don't have value because we don't have large connections with the cheating / anti cheat community or are experienced in programming. As this was explained above, hopefully by now you realize that this would not only lack much of a difference (note: fully proper concealment / things that are undetectable in the first place) but would also be terrible for the longevity of the server (staff team would be a very different thing after, I can assure you that much).

It is hopefully apparent now that this will never happen and for good reason. If you disagree with that then feel free to explain why, otherwise have a nice day.

Dude wrote an entire essay, I agree with this though, Paladin caught pretty much every closet cheat ever and if it didn't I would just have to do a more in depth search. Not sure why you would get "expert" screen sharers though, this would just give a message that MCC had a bad staff team and had no clue how to screenshare.

nomegalul, scotian is best ss'er on mcc and he can find multiple closet cheaters ghost clients, ive seen him do it many times, and no reason for mcc to make a whole team for that
