Hello! I just heard about a story of someone who dropped their Harvest Hoe on another persons island and he couldn't pick it up because the island owner disabled picking up drops. I wanted to suggest a solution to this issue and that would be to allow those to pick up their own items that dropped out of their inventory but nothing else on the island. For example: let's say someone was on a public hh farm but they accidentally dropped their hh. They would only be able to pick up the things they drop on their own, and not the things the island creates or the people drop to them. I think this would be a better solution and it'd prevent the loss of a hh. Thanks for reading, DubLMGaming
That sounds like something great to have added since it’d prevent issues such as the one you mentioned. However, I’d suggest adding some sort of filter to that, as sometimes people can also donate stuff, etc (it may sound dumb to pick ur own donation back up but it’s just an example). - guih
I love this! Dropped items already contain an 'Owner' NBT tag containing the droppers UUID; so this would 110% be a perfect elegant soloution. Solves the issue of accidentally dropping items on other islands, while also not breaking the integrity of the island permission of not picking items up. (To avoid people pinching loot from farms) Thanks for the suggestion!
Hi! I think this is a great idea. It's sad to see players watch their harvest hoe get removed from clear lag, or having the island owner take it. I would love to see the ability to pick up items of your own. Additionally, I think it would be fair for only the person who is farming/ killing mobs to pick up the drops. I've seen people take drops that others worked for and it can be annoying. Thank you for reading!
Hey there! This would be such a great idea! a lot of people (Including me) drop their items by accident. If we were on an island that was not ours and dropped it, not being able to pick them back up would upsetting. Adding this would ensure that we would not lose our items and could pick them back up. Have a great day!
