I have been noticing a large amount of people making threads about the anti cheat, so I thought I would clear some things up! 1. To report hackers, gather sufficient evidence and report them on the forums 2. If you seen a hacker, tag a staff member on discord! 3. An anti cheat is currently in the process of being coded, so be patient! Not really a server suggestion, but I thought if this post was made staff might not have as many threads to lock :/ Note that if you make a thread regarding the anti cheat it will be locked! So please don’t, we need the staff for banning hackers not locking forum posts on the anti cheat being bad!
Hey there. I can see where you're coming from, but I also think it's important that the community is able to freely speak about things the server can do better, and its issues, as well. Unfortunately, the anticheat is a huge issue on MCC, and everyone knows it. There are many hackers playing the server, and many staff members are also online, working to fix the problem. Sadly, there is no easy fix. Not everyone has the time/space/power to record and upload video for report, so not much can be done about that. Of course, you can ping a staff member in the server Discord, but why should you have to do that so frequently? I think that if the server was to invest in a decent anticheat (or developers to speed up coding), we'd have many fewer hackers playing. To sum things up, I think you have a fair point. However, I also think that the community deserves to speak about the issues they feel are present on MCC and how best to fix them. I don't think this thread will help, simply because it's not addressing the concerns on either side.
hey bucko! i don’t think this post being made is gonna reduce the amount of posts that are made about the anticheat. as zonafer said, people do have the right/ability to speak freely. also, part of being staff (at least mod+) is to lock threads n’ such. -And yes it is true if you make a post about the anticheat it’d be locked but also many other threads about completely different topics get locked. Most anticheat threads get answered by community members explaining whatever points were made in the thread.. as you said, there is an anticheat n’ blah blah blah... it was updated in june or something, and it got worse in a way... and the truth is the anticheat is bad, everyone and their sister is aware of it. It kinda got worse when they updated it back in end June or somewhere around that time frame. Many Many staff work very hard to ban hackers as they try to check report tickets, discord support, and in-game... the sad truth is, is that there’s more hackers than staff, and more clients than the anticheat can detect.. most of what i said, are points that were brought up above.. hope this helped!! ~puposaurus
