Hey guys, Has anyone got a good recording software that is easy to use because at the moment my bandicam isn't working and i need to get these hackers banned. Please comment the ones that you use and I will download them and try them out. Have a great day! :D
Hi Lunatix, Awhile ago I used Bandicam and found it to be a decently good recording software. Since that time, I have used the Windows recording Software. I have used that the most but have realized that the recording quality is not that good and is very choppy when is used to identifying rule Breakers. Currently, I have moved on from WIndows recoridng Software and is now using OBS. OBS is a very good recording software that looks 20x better than Bandicam and Windows recording Software. It is also very smooth and captures videos with no choppiness and low fps. I am very interested with what other players use as well, please let me know more suggestions for recording gameplay and I will definetly try it out! Please note that this thread would also be better posted in Off-Topic as well. I hope you have a great rest of your day! -ItsDavid
Hello! If you are looking for a good software I suggest using these software: GeForce Shadow Play, Window's Capture, or OBS. Note: GeForce Shadow Play requires a NIVIDIA Graphics Card. It is a very easy software to use, and have many people using this software. If you have a great PC, I suggest you use OBS. As ItsDavid said, "OBS is a very good recording software that looks 20x better than Bandicam and Windows recording Software. It is also very smooth and captures videos with no choppiness and low fps." This is true. Most streamers also use OBS as their recording/live software. Window's Capture is a automatically installed software if you have Windows 10. To open up this overplay use Windows + G. You can also see which Xbox friends are currently on aswell.
Hello Lunatix! I recommend you using Streamlabs OBS it's currently the recording/streaming software I use for my Twitch and Youtube. What Streamlabs OBS basically is OBS but a much much better version of it. There are tons of features about it that you can customize to your own taste etc. Granted, there's other software out there that you could use but if my words mean anything I can vouch for Streamlabs OBS that their software is 200% better than your average software like OBS. Thank you for reading my comment and have a beautiful day/night! - Jen/HowToFaction
Hey Lunatix What I personally recommend is OBS / Geforce Shadow Play. A very long time ago I used to use Bandicam (because its easy to use). OBS may be a little bit complicated to new users but its easy once you get your settings right! After that its just a click of a button and your recording nice and easily. And for Geforce i'd say that its extremely easy to use. Just pick 60 or 30 fps, and you're good to go! (You have to have a Nivida graphics card for this.) -Whisped
Hey there! While everyone else has given you amazing recording software recommendations, there's a way to make uploading and sharing those videos much easier. Rather than uploading videos to youtube, download gyazo gif and screen record up to 10 seconds of the most important footage you've saved. Gyazo will automatically upload it and give you a link to share the short clip, and it only takes about 30 seconds. Best of luck! - Mike
Hey Luna, I also use bandicam as it is s very reliable recording software and gets the job done, it is free and is a good use for gaming also pared with the badlion client replay mod you can be sure to catch every hacker you see in a game. Bandicam is also very practical as you can decide to chose a window for the recording software to record on and the videos can be very easily uploaded to YouTube and reported onto the forums. ~HH_Captain
Hi, I would recommend OBS. Since everyone has already gone into detail about how good it is as a recording software ( and I believe it is the best one out there), I would just like to point out that on OBS, you can use keybinds to start and stop recordings from your keyboard which is very useful. Anyways, hope this helped.
Hey Scotian, I might try this because the videos I upload are normally like 15 seconds long anyway. Have a great day! Thank you so much.
If you have Windows 10, you can use the built-in recording software, by pressing the Windows Key + G, it is a pretty good software and it records at a good frame rate. Hope this helped :) Have a great day!
Hello there, This might be helpful if you are on windows, if you press Windows+G and then press record last 30 seconds it is very handy for catching hackers, I use this occasionally if I forgot to press record, but I use OBS for the rest of the time. I am on a gaming laptop but I found a youtube video where they showed how to make obs work for laptops if you want the video message me on discord Bolling#1919 Have a nice day :)
I use Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) on windows 10 and QuickTime Player for my MacBook Air. I recommend using QuickTime Player on a MacBook Air because you may experience lag while using OBS on it. And I recommend using OBS on windows 10 because you shouldn't experience any lag due to it having a higher performance.
Like Tyxlr said you can use GeForce Shadow Play, Window's Capture, or OBS I personally use OBS for most of my recordings since I wanna have no watercolor just how Bandicam haves when using the trial for it which is what most people generally do.
OBS is a decent recording software and it's FREE! If you want a more advanced recording system, you'll have to invest a bit of money into it.
