Hello! First of all, I did not put this in server suggestions because I more just want to hear people's thoughts about this. I got this idea from something someone said on the MCC discord that I thought was pretty interesting. When you are muted/banned etc. your punishment length depends on two factors. The severity and the number of previous offenses. Similarly to the Excessive Chat Offenses punishment, I think it would be interesting and possibly a good idea to have punishments based off of the severity and the number of previous offenses in the past two years. This system could be more lenient and user friendly. I could see this being a better system because players can change and sometimes don't deserve the very long mutes. Anyways, I thought this was an interesting idea and wanted to put it out there. Feel free to leave critiques and suggestions, as I will try to read all of them! heyo! i can see what you mean, especially for something like sev2 or sev3 gameplays possibly. however, i don’t really see this getting implemented since, as i see it, once you get punished no matter what category or severity it may be, it’s still you breaking a rule and the first couple times are like “warnings” since the punishment length isn’t as long. i feel that the system that exists should remain since those first couple times kinda act as the “more lenient” kinda thing. an example from me is when i had a 9month streak from not being muted since i had taken a small break from mcc and becuase i was perm muted and could not appeal, then i got muted for a sev1 offence, i has gotten the mute for the 3days since i have had a numerous amount of severity1 mutes before hand and I knew the rules. Later I appealed that mute becuase it was false and vivi wasn’t the best staff and didn’t remove it and doesn’t know what fb is. apart from that, I think for some people who have a 2yr “streak” of no punishments this could be a little more lenient, but also staff cannot chose the time amount when they punish a player, it comes down to their punishment history as a factor of how long a punishment would be. overall, it’s not a bad idea, i don’t really see it getting implemented, i think staff could be a little more lenient on appeals if that were the case that you described, but i can’t control that. anywyas +0 kinda neutral on it have a great day :)
