    PUBLIC ALTS AND SHARING ACCOUNTS

This thread is about the use of public alts and sharing accounts with other players in general. Public alt accounts are accounts which can be accessed through websites that share Minecraft login details. These accounts are usually hacked accounts which have been stolen from the original owners. They are often used when hacking on the server. Any use of these accounts is under the responsibility of the user, and we strongly discourage using them. The accounts get banned very easily, and this can result in Ban Evading very easily. We won't take into account who actually used the account when it got banned.

Sharing accounts with your friends or other players is closely related to this. We strongly discourage sharing accounts. Minecraft accounts are personal and should not be shared. However, if you decide to share your account, you are responsible for the things that happen while someone else is using it.

Overall the message of this thread is that you should only use accounts which you own yourself completely. If you don't, you take a big risk, as IP Bans are issued based on the accounts which you have logged in with.
