So theres a problem with a lot of people were they are just really toxic and mean and a lot of them don't get muted People have been mean, cursing at me, and more. there is a big problem with toxicicity on this server that needs to be changed.
Hello! I agree with you so much, there’s a missing part of the rules which bypasses harassment, since the max time you can get is 3 days O-O Imagine a player harassing someone in their dms, in chat etc.. he can do it for a lot of time without getting muted, it’s ridiculous. When /ignore doesn’t work in plot chat, the player can still follow you around and it’s so annoying. Just if they fixed those small things it can make the big difference like, make players auto ignored for 30 days if they both got muted for arguing. But let’s not forget, every server is toxic, I think this one is still in a good place compared to other servers. Have a nice day! -Ori
hey Duckiie! I know where your'e coming from as I also noticed a lot of toxic people on this server. Honestly, as a community we can do everything to try to prevent it, I don't think there will ever be a solution to this problem. We can't control people and how they act, but we can control how WE act towards ther toxicity. I would recommend just not listening to them! People usually who are toxic want a reaction to everything they say for their own pleasure. Don't give them that. Also I am sorry to hear that people have been rude to you :/ you are not a trash egirl don't even listen to them ! if anything else happens to you and they're are being disrespectful, you can do /chatreport (ign) disrespect. also, keep your head up girl (: have a good day/night <3
I totally agree that MCC has a huge toxic player base. The reality is, anywhere in the gaming world people will be toxic, that is just how it is online. That doesn't mean i'm saying it is okay, but it comes with being a gamer you could say. MCC has a very competitive side, which bring out the toxic of people. There may be some things MCC could do to help the toxicity issue, but rude people will always be here or anywhere really.
yes mcc very toxic, but dw. when covid vaccine is released, hopefully it can kill the toxic germs in mcc other wise. quarentine by taking a break or request ban if you need to. there's also umm, oh, don't complain, it's your choice to join mcc. ignore the toxicity and move on, making a post here doesn't solve this issue nor suggest any solutions. certainly doesn't do anything, as in make a change in mcc. there's other posts like this, and mcc is still the same.
Hey Duckiie! I can see where you're coming from and I think a decent amount of people will think the same thing but In just my opinion, I think the best thing to do is just not engage in arguments or talk back to toxic people bc in the end you might get in a position yourself to get muted. Arguably I don't really play on toxic sub-servers as I mainly play skyblock and skywars, until the 10th season of skyblock I really didn't get into arguments a whole lot but just decided to because I had nothing better to do and bc of that I got muted countless times so I think the best thing to do is just ignore the toxicity and carry on with what you were doing. I've been pretty fortunate in regards to harassment/toxicity even as a staff member, but I agree that the majority of the playerbase will have problems with this at one point or another. On one hand, it's just part of playing on a competitive server. You're never really be able to completely remove chat toxicity, especially on gamemodes like UHC or KitPvP. The server doesn't do a bad job of minimizing targeted toxicity either; some of the recent changes to creative functions are an excellent example of that. On the other hand, I'd like to see the /ignore function be reworked to be more effective. Things like it not working on minigames and being bypassed by /p chat are small changes which would make a significant difference, and it's something I'll bring up at some point with the Admin team. Until then, I encourage you to /chatreport players who are harrassing others, and /ignore players who's toxicity is affecting your playing experience whenever possible.
