So I have been playing prison since it was first released. Me and some other people who played want spawners to get nerfed or even removed, we want this because over the years it was a grind to get money but now you can ask for 15min and get 1mil. Back before spawners, it was a hustle to get money and the game was all about mining PvP and plots. So if you don't think this is a good idea can we have a vote on it. P.S if you look at the stats over the years more and more people quit the server over updates and i can almost find nobody from prison 1.0 or 2.0 anymore
Hello Wana Fight! Since I began prison a few years ago, I understand how you feel! Personally I think spawners should be worth a bit less and have tokens be slightly less valued but still useful since prison is about mining. Tokens are good to encourage people to mine more but have inflated the economy which has had a negative impact on the server in general (in my opinion) so I'd like to see spawners become cheaper, loot sell for less and ores sell for more to bring back the mining importance and have the economy based on mining since that's what makes prison prison, just like survival is all about farming, factions is about raiding, etc. In answer to your question, I agree to an extent - Yes spawners should be nerfed, but not removed. Player count drops regularly for every server for these few reasons : Many players have got older and went to college or got married or whatever and have grown out of Minecraft sadly. Also since season 1 and 2 of prisons, many other subservers have been added (including Prisons 2) meaning that players from prisons have been spread out across the server to other subservers over the seasons like skyblock and factions and survival etc. And usually by the end of the season, many players start to quit if they can not compete with the richest players or just get bored of prisons. Also it is currently August and many players are returning back to school so the player count of every subserver is going to automatically decrease. I understand how you feel about spawners and I kind of feel the same as you about it. I played prisons season 2 and spawners were 100% the only way to get income quickly. I grinded in 3 days for about 24 hours and I managed to get #3 on baltop half way through the season on my third day. I agree that spawners should be slightly nerfed and hopefully something will change but player count will probably always drop because of the server expanding and old players growing out of Minecraft. I kinda agree with this, I myself don't like having Spawners in Prisons as I feel like it takes the mining out of prisons. I think they should keep it the way it is because it helps the server's Prison stand out from other Prison servers as I don't know another Prison server that has Spawners, having Spawners is also another aspect added to the game mode and can make the game more fun depending on what kind of person you are. Also, less players are playing the game as some players have moved on from Minecraft or have grown out from it. Also, another reason the player count is decreasing is because school has just started yesterday for a good chunk of players. If anything, the player count has increased as Minecraft has received an upsurge these past couple months.
