Your best bet is probably using youtube or google to find a way to get a shareable link of your vid that u can copy and paste into the report players section. I personally dont use quicktime so cant really help you sadly :c, but im sure theres a few helpful people on youtube that can help you out!
Hi, I use quicktime. Once you stop recording, it should save to a folder labeled "quicktime", unless you changed the location in which you wanted it to save. You can find this folder by searching it in your finder application. From there, drag it into the YouTube Studio where it allows you to upload your video. Follow the normal instructions to upload a video after.
I explained to you how to upload to YouTube already. Drag the video into the YouTube studio, and from there it'll explain to you how to upload it. Copy the link and go here. Click "report a player" and fill out the format. Paste the link into the description.
Hi Mary___! Like others are saying, quicktime isn't the best for recording videos. I recommend OBS. You can download it by clicking the "OBS" text above. Here are some steps to get it setup. 1) Install the program like any other 2) Run the setup wizard to customize the software for your machine 3) Go to "file" in the top right corner. On MacOS, this will be at top of the display, not the program 4) Select settings 5) Go to video. If you understand how resolution and frame rate works, play around with those to get the best settings, but otherwise leave them as is. 5) Go to "Hotkeys" and set a uncommonly used key on your keyboard to start and stop the recording. This way, when you see someone hacking you can quickly start the recording. 6) Go to "output" and Select the output to your media folder if not already. It may automatically land in a deep folder somewhere, so put the output somewhere common like desktop or videos. 7) Click "apply" and "Ok" 8) Right click "Scenes" and add a new scene. The name can be anything. (OR THE +) 9) Right click in "Sources" and click "add" (OR THE +) 10) Add either a window capture or game capture (If you don't have a great video card, I'd recommend window capture.) 11) Click "Ok" 12) Next to "Window" select "Minecraft (VERSION) - Multiplayer (3rd-party) 13) Click "OK" And you're all set in that regard! Now to upload them, the easiest one to use is Streamable. That is self explanatory and the instructions are on the webpage! I hope this helped. If you have any questions or need help, don't hesitate to shoot me a message on discord. Cessie2u#4710 Stay well- Cessie2u
No one has said QuickTime isn't a good recording software. It's the normal one to use on Mac, and they've already recorded the video and need help uploading it. When you say this, do you mean you saved the video to your computer an hour ago? Or you already uploaded it to YouTube?
I already recorded the video i just need a way to make it linkable im VERY bad with screen recoding at any kind
Post it to YouTube, I already explained to you how. Once it's uploaded, click the three dots and then click "get shareable link".
Thank You for your help people i posted the video staff can lock the thread since its has no point anymore
