This suggestion isn't really that big of a deal, but it would make parties a lot easier. Currently, players have to type out /party for every party command. This "/p" command would have the same properties as /party, but you only have to type one letter as opposed to five. It would be a lot easier if we were able to do /p. I know you're able to implement multiple commands for the same thing (like /tpyes and /tpaccept), so there's nothing holding the command back from being added. /p isn't a secret command people don't have access to either, because when you do /p it just says unknown command, so there's no collision there. Overall, this is extremely easy to implement and would make partying a lot easier :) Let me know what you think.
heyo. i like this idea; however i can see a problem with it. mostly in subservers like creative, prison, and survival where there are plots. doing “/p” for party could get the system confused with “/p shortcut” for plots. and you don’t need to type “/party” for party chat, you can type “/pc”. also, typing “/party” isn’t too much of a problem since you really only need to do it to invite someone and/or kick n’ all that. overall, it’s a +0 from me have a ☆ day ~poo poo saurus
As Puposaurus said, 'p' is already a shortcut for plot on the plot related servers or the sub-servers that have them so not only that it wouldn't work but you can easily get it mixed up. Its a good idea but /p is already existing, so it's a -1 for me.
Like Puposaurus said, this is already a shortcut for most sub-servers /p is used to shortcut /plot, and all commands that follow that (/plot home, /plot chat, etc etc). Though /plot is shorter by 1 letter than /party, the people who implemented the original shortcut chose to shorten the command used more often than the longer one. However, I don’t COMPLETELY disagree with the idea. Instead of using /p as a shortcut for /party, there could be something like /py, /prty, /pty, etc. anything that makes it quicker. Because /py inv <player> would admittedly be much faster than typing the whole thing, especially if you wanna grab 4 or 5 friends in a party to play survival games or CTF with. Hey! Yea the ./p command is generally used for plots on multiple sub-servers such as creative, survival, and prison. I think a command such as ./pt would be more useful. I agree with you on the part that typing ./party for 10-20 players may be irritating. Agreed!
