OCE ping has had fairly consistent spikes over the past few months. It's just something that players are going to have to deal with, as the Quality Assurance team is aware of the issue (today's been a particularly bad day). If your ping is a problem for more than a day or two, please make a bug report here. If possible, also try and include your ISP (internet service provider), as ping issues around Australia are sometimes to do with certain service providers/the NBN (I had bad ping for over a month because of connection issues between MCC and my ISP).
