I haven't played minecraft for quite a while and just decided to come back and get into the server again. I love the changes so far but finding out that you can no longer fly in the resource world of the Survival Server is ridiculous. I paid for my rank to be able to fly, now I'm stuck on the ground with the rest of the none/low rankers and it feels like I'm not getting the full benefit of the perk. I feel like they should change it back. Anyone else feels the same?
No, flying in the resource world ruined the entire purpose of survival. You can still fly at spawn and the plot world :)
hello! i understand having fly disabled in resource world kinda sucks.. but i'm glad they removed it for resource world. it gives a better feel for it to be more "survival" and w/ epearls in kits n' such traveling far distances really isn't that hard. fly in resource world is not coming back since now we have elytras and markey has said that it really shouldn't have been there since s1 (proof from changelog). Yes, as mentioned, it is fun to fly around n' whatever.. but it's just not survival-like to do that in resource world... something i like about this season is it's different from the other seasons (cough s3-s6) to kinda merge previous seasons together.. like s1-s2 and s3-26 together, like, as a compromise or whatever.. anyways, overall, -1 on bringng back fly..
I totally agree with pupo on everythign she said above, it wasnt really, survival as you could fly around and gain materials easier. I play survival too and in my opinion the kits/rank is very worth it(Coming back to this in a bit)! If you could fly in the end your biggest profit would be flying through the end snatching elytras and selling them to non/low ranks. So with an elytras you usually need fireworks to gain momentum. Survival needed this change, and as im sad too, it was neccessary. Thank you for taking the time to read, -sinder
This gives the more "survival" feel in my opinion. However there are some things I do not really agree with through the reset, but it definitely is not the fly issue as that should really be removed. There is a lot that was added into this reset that changed survival for the better for sure as well, however some might not like the change.
