Hello. I've come across a player who has a username and skin which aren't considered offensive on their own, but when combined they become offensive. Here is the player's NameMC page, and another example (check the user's skin history). I got to thinking if this would be punishable, and I was told this is not punishable. In this case, because it is a skin and username that every player can see, regardless of if they have modifications installed, I believe that this should be made punishable under the same category as explicit names and explicit skins on their own. All things considered, it's not a pressing issue, because it probably isn't a common occurrence. However, like with my proposed explicit capes rule (you can read more here), I still think by allowing this behaviour to go unpunished, it really compromises the point of creating a supportive and friendly community. Overall, I would really like to see this new rule considered, as the skin and usernames of these players can be seen by everyone, and ignoring the issue will only contribute to the problem. Thank you.
I totally agree with you! obviously the player knows what they are doing so I also think they should be punished
heyO! mr sir! i can see where you're comming from 'bout these names that can be taken as "offensive". however, i really dont think it should be punishable since it can get complicated on what's really considered "offensive". this is kinfa flawed logic n' all, but everyone gets offended these days n' such. In your examples, it's clear and obvious how those are offensive, but some names like "DogEater" or "GayPridee" people can get offended. I think when it comes to what's considered "offensive" n' such it can get poltical if that makes snes.e.....umm ima keep it there ask questions cuz i didnt really explain it fully ~pup
Hello! I agree with this, perhaps they could make inappropriate skins and Inappropriate IGN's just counted as an Inappropriate profile ban? That way anything like this could be bannable. I am a +1 to this idea! Have a Nice Day All The Best ___Sean___ MCC Community Member
Yeah, I would only really focus on explicitly offensive stuff, and names like DogEater wouldn't be considered inappropriate just like StingyJew wouldn't either.
