I was discussing with some friends today about how the MCC leaderboards for CTF are kinda messed up in the fact that people who play 24/7 are higher up then the people that are actually good. Enter compound scoring: (Games Won × ( 2 × Flag Captures ) ) ÷ ( 2 × Games Played ) × ( Kills ÷ Deaths) × 100 This scoring would take a skill based average between your stats Examples: _______________________________________________________________________________ No. 62 DeathlyKismet (Monthly Stats) ( 119 [Games Won] × ( 2 × 58 [Flags Captured] ) ) ÷ ( 2 × 225 [Games Played ) × ( 486 [Kills] ÷ 622 [Deaths] ) × 100 = 2396 Compound Score _______________________________________________________________________________ No. 1 HypEric9918 (Monthly Stats) ( 926 [Games Won] × ( 2 × 255 [Flags Captured] ) ) ÷ ( 2 × 1765 [Games Played ) × ( 1069 [Kills] ÷ 6608 [Deaths] ) × 100 = 2,164 Compound Score _______________________________________________________________________________ No. 5 PrimeExamples (Monthly Stats) (451 × (2 × 207)) ÷ ( 2 × 630 ) × ( 2028 ÷ 1578) × 100 = 19,044 Compound Score (This month prime has a 72%! win percentage and a 33%! capture ratio, which is why he scores so high!) _______________________________________________________________________________ Special Conditions: Players must have played 100 games to have a compound score
yo! i can see where you’re coming from about how leaderboards aren’t the most fair; however, i think they’re set up that way for a reason. you way seems like it could over complicate leaderboards.. in a way.. i don’t think leaderboard system would be changed... but i mean... ya’ never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ have a great day! ~pup
I can see where you come from also but the leaderboards are meant for people that want to grind as much as possible and work for the leaderboards. If this was implemented people would play so much less aggressively and would defend a lot more to get a higher win percentage. People that grind deserve to be high up on leaderboards. This is just my opinion, Thank you :D Have a lovely day!
