Okay so. I'm not a huge huge miner myself when it comes to wanting to prestige and all that stuff but. The upgradeable pickaxe hasn't been a thing in prisons for too long now, infact, this is the first season it was introduced in. Though, I think that a perk... or such, a new item could be added to where you could combine pickaxes together to make them more efficient, more powerful. For example, you could combine a Level 12 upgradeable pickaxe with the addons that it currently has on it with a Level 54 pickaxe with all the addons this one has on it. With this, it wouldn't take too long to get a very over powered pickaxe.

My second point is.. and i'm sure a few will disagree with this but opinions are opinions. For the mined blocks requirement before prestiging. I beleive it could get down graded a notch. This being, I think that to prestige shouldn't be too hard though I do understand that the point of Prisons is to reach Z9, the first. But for example, it takes 100k mined blocks to prestige to A1 which in my opinion, is a little too much. I'm not a huge miner myself therefore this is why i'm saying this. To prestige to A2, you need 225k mined blocks which for me... is really absurd. The list goes on and on until you reach A9 but I think this would help many players when it comes to mining.

My third point is the spawner limit. Without prestiging, you can only have 15 spawners on one plot. Making it 45 spawners if you have a quad plot. Then, just take about 3-4 hours of mining and you'll be able to get 30 spawners on your plot, making it 120 if you have a quad plot. Though when you think about it, this isn't alot as this server's prisons are supposed to be OP Prisons. To be fair, I don't really think that a spawner limit should be implemented due to this server being op prisons.
I also think that if this was to be the case, with no spawner limitations etc, that seasons shouldn't be as long as they currently are. I like having long seasons as it gives players an oppourtunity to grind out every asset of the subserver but on the other hand, 3 months in season 7 and players are buying tokens for 40k each, in prisons 1. As said, this is op prisons but in a few weeks... we will be seeing tokens selling for 100k if not more?

Anyways, those are my thoughts for prisons and if you have any suggestions/your own opinions, let me know!
    Have a great day!

    Hey ShePrecious,

As a Prison 2 player, I personally find the whole concept of prison is mining. When I first prestiged I was already at 500k blocks mined. I find that prison is based around grinding and grinding for long periods of time for a great payout. As Y3, I have 2 million blocks mined and I rarely mine. I already qualify for prestige 8 with these blocks mined. The highest being 2.6 million which is Prestige 9. In my opinion, I think the blocks mined limit/goal is too low because a low requirement doesn't give players much to strive towards to, (plus it's really easy to get blocks if you're focused and on a mission). Raising the limit can/will encourage people to mine more often and might balance the economy (idk what Prison 1 economy is like don't come for me).

I've seen the concept of merging pickaxes a lot and I'm really not a fan of it. Like I said earlier, prison is about hard manual labor with little, if no ways of getting shortcuts to a good pickaxe (unless you buy one from someone). If you pvp, you can easily kill a rookie for their pickaxe and use it as your own to combine. Also, as the pickaxe level increases, the harder it is to get points. Example: Getting fortune I from a level 1 pickaxe is way faster than getting Fortune X on a level 27 pickaxe (assuming no points were spent on efficiency). This would become a red flag as it can be easily farmed and in the end, almost everyone will have the best possible pickaxe in no time. Personally I think this would ruin the vibe a little and discourage players from grinding it out themselves. The idea for a perk is alright so not everyone can get the change to do it. However, having that perk can be used to that players advantage by making a massive profit by combining other players pickaxes. Perks aren't really meant to give a massive one-up on other players.

    Thanks,

    Hey, SheMyPrecious.

For your first point, I'm against this suggestion. I think the owners have done a brilliant job with the current upgradeable pickaxe, I believe it's quite balanced and doesn't need anything changed with it. The entire purpose of the upgradeable pickaxe is to mine with it and upgrade it yourself. They're meant to take a lot of time and effort into getting them to a high level. The level on which your upgradeable pickaxe is totally dependant on you. It's meant to be a grind. If not, you can always buy a higher-level one for a few million. Adding a perk making it so players can combine upgradeable pickaxes would destroy the current economy and proper use for them. They'd no longer be grinded to higher levels by players, they'd be upgraded via this perk. @TeddyOreo says it perfectly.
TeddyOreo has also mentioned that players with this new perk would gain an unfair advantage especially when the perk's first released.
-1 from me for so many reasons.

For your second point, I'm against this suggestion as well. I remember back in season 3.0 there wasn't a requirement for blocks mined to prestige and everyone was in the higher prestiges as soon as they got enough money which wasn't hard considering spawners were very unbalanced when they were first added in. I'm currently Y1 and have only been playing for just under a month and I don't mine that regularly yet I'm at 825k blocks mined. Meaning I could nearly reach Prestige 5 if I had the money. I feel like the current blocks mined requirements to prestige are to low. Considering, I've got to Y1 by mining for a large majority of my money yet I can nearly get to Prestige 5. I think the blocks mined requirements are lenient due to spawners and other means of income, so players like you don't have to mine that much. Prison is based around mining yet mining is no longer required as much as it used to be back in seasons 1.0 & 2.0. I feel like the current Prison season has been the most balanced season since 2.0. I don't see any reason to reduce the number of blocks mined as I currently think it's a respectable amount. -1 from me.

For your third and final point, I'm against this suggestion. Having no limit on the number of spawners that one player can have at any given time will ruin the economy and ruin the levelling and prestige system. Just because MCC's Prison is classified as OP doesn't mean there aren't requirements for certain things. Without requirements or minimum requirements, it would be an entirely different sub-server. Spawners are very well balanced this season and don't need any changes. If there wasn't a limit on the number of spawners a player can have I feel this would just repeat what happened back in season 3.0. -1 from me.

Overall, everything that you've suggested are massive gameplay changes that I believe don't need any changes. This is the first Prison season that I've enjoyed since 2.0 as everything seems to be in perfect balance. I feel like if any of these three gameplay changes were added in the entire sub-server would have to be reorganised and changed just to suit one of these gameplay changes.

    Thanks, Layne.
