I have purchased and own Minecraft on my Xbox One. I have purchased and own Minecraft on my Switch. I have linked my Microsoft account to my Switch.

All I am trying to do is play and build in the same world using my one profile, picking up where I left off using whichever one console at my convenience. No multiplayer or anything like that.

Is this possible to do without having to pay monthly for a realm?

    Hey!

No, single-player worlds are saved on the computer/device memory only.
If you want to access it from different devices, you can either make a realm or a server.

Note: If you are staying on the same network/Wi-Fi, you can open the world to LAN in settings (This option is Free)
