anytime i try to talk to a mod they dont respond but anytime someone with a rank talks to them they talk with them extensively. Why is this?
Hello! Often times the moderator or staff member is busy answering other questions or doing important staff actions, such as banning a hacker. When they're visible on the tab list, everyone can see, so anyone with a question will also be messaging them. They might have been overwhelmed with multiple questions when you asked yours, and they might have forgot to answer it, or didn't see it because they were busy answering others. People who aren't staff are not asked questions as much, and so that makes it much more likely they will see yours. Staff still try their best to answer questions, though. but they are talking to someone else and sometimes 2 people at once and i dont see why they cant respond to one question

PooPoo- My recommendation is don't flood them. Either send them a message here on the forums or on discord. Like many have already mentioned, they are extremely busy. Most things can be handled on the forums. If you suspect a player of cheating, you can report them. If you have questions about becoming staff, the guidelines thread can answer that. While it's always good to socialize with the staff, if they don't answer you, they probably are doing things that require their full attention. Stay Well! Cessie2u
Hello, Unlike the other replies, I can agree with this partially actually back when I was a Rookie rank. It depends on the staff member. Staff members can also be busy conducting other staff actions such as answering other questions or trying to come up with a verdict on whether someone is hacking. It is likely that they did not see you in chat or are being overwhelmed with messages. I recommend that you don't do anything that would come off as unprofessional such as spam when trying to talk to a staff member. You're much more likely to get a response in the support chat on the MC-Central Discord server (https://discord.com/invite/9jzwQDQ). Hey, I understand how this can be annoying. I feel like people should treat them the same as everyone else on the server. I’m sure so many people try to get the attention of them so i’m sure they get fed up with it but if you have any questions and they don’t answer I can understand how that can be extremely frustrating. You're the only person to reply to this post that doesn't sound like they are being payed by one of the mods to say only good things about this server
I can tell you right now that staff don't discriminate by rank. I know I can't speak for every other staff member because I'm not them, but I'm very sure that nobody does that. Personally, I tend to get flooded by messages by tons of different people, so it's difficult to respond to every single person, and sometimes I see people take it personally when I cant back to them. I can't speak for every other staff member, but if I'm not able to reply, I'm usually occupied already with 1-2 other things, whether I'm helping other people, spectating hackers, or dealing with middlemans or other things. Our job isn't easy- the things people said above are true. We do tend to get spammed a lot with messages, and trying to scroll through everything as chat moves quickly is really difficult, which is why like stated above, it's best to just message one of us on discord if you really really need a response and can't wait.
