At the current time of posting, response time on forums is approximately 45 minutes - 3 hours.
I notice that a lot of moderators are online, and as soon as you alert them that a report has come through, they will go and read your report and deal with it accordingly.

    My suggestion is:
Moderators have a channel in the discord server where reports on players are posted, so that moderators can deal with one when it comes through, and the report in the discord channel is deleted when it is dealt with.

    Example of long response time

I report a lot of players and sometimes, I have to admit, I have had some occasions where my reports have been pending for 8-10 hours!
But, eventually, the staff do respond.

Remember that not all the staff can look at the reports as there is a ‘reports team’ that have all trained and applied for the ability to asses them.

I find it is easier to have someone that is on the reports team as a friend on the server or the discord server as you can easily message them and if they have time then they will gladly take a look at the reports for you.

You have to keep in mind that currently the AntiCheat is pretty bugged and many clients are able to bypass it. Therefore, so many players are reporting the same hackers and there is usually hundreds of reports every hour, I assume.

    The idea of creating a separate discord channel for the reports team and all reports that are submitted, Ping in the channel and notify the reports team, is at first look quite a good idea but if you think about the negativitys that this could cause, such as ;
The reports team want to relax and just play the game and ban any hackers that they manage to find, in the game, regularly and they do not want to be spammed by discord notifications.
If there are maybe 3 staff members watching the discord for reports to come in then possibly they will all click on the same one and all reply to it and it would cause many issues if, for example, 1 moderater accepted it and 1 moderater denies it.
Many staff members in the reports team, let members that are not as active, do some reports so that they can meet their monthly requirements so if the whole team got notified when a report came in, it would be unlikely that the whole team would let the report pend until a less active reports team member comes online.

These are just a few of the negativities that I have thought of that could possibly be effective if this was implemented and I personally think that the current way of reports is perfect.
You can also just do ‘@Staff Member hacker in ssw (username)’ in the MCC discord in #support and if a staff member is free then they will be willing to come onto the server and asses the hacker.
Thank you and have a lovely day!

    Hey!

I disagree with this. Over 100+ reports come in daily and overnight. We also do not have that many AU/EU people on reports team so I (US) normally wake up to 60-100 reports open. In general, there aren't many EU/AU moderators on the staff team to help out with reports.

A channel would only cause spam. As I said, we'd get pinged over 100 times daily and that is unnecessary. We are aware reports take long for a response but a channel won't solve the issue. We just need more help during AU/EU time but there aren't many staff members from that region.

At the end of the day reports aren't going to be ignored, they're always going to be dealt with at some time. You just need to be patient, staff have a lot of stuff to do and things to deal with, give them time.

I thought about this in the past, but then you do have to realize that this is why the reports team subteam was put into place. If this was added into the discord, nobody would use reports tickets as much, thus making the mcc website not as active as it would be, or as useful to players and such. It is also easier to document for sure rather than scrolling through a discord chat and such. It should stay the same, but if you do need help with a hacker just hit up #support

This would cause Chaos, Spam and Annoyance.
If someone is hacking make a report or if really needed msg #support.
Also staff can’t just spend 100% of their time banning people, they do other things too.
They are people and they don’t pause a Netflix Film to ban someone in their free time. There are many solutions but we need to all be respectful to one and other :)

This isn't required. If mod's are getting pinged on discord 100 times a day they just wont come on discord anymore. Just be patient reports are usually handled within 12 hours of posting.
