I feel that vines should be unbreakable in sg for the reasons of people being unreachable such as Caelum Mundi where you can break the vines to the top of the tree. I am only mentioning this because a 3 team wouldn't leave the top for 15 minutes+ and was scared to kill me when I was solo.
There are multiple ways to get on top of the trees on caelum mundi, not just with vines. Idk if we’re talking about the same spot in the map, but you can break leaves to climb up if so. I don’t feel like that’s a massive issue and having that disabled would probably break the game mechanics in some maps. -1
I never have the issue that you have described and why change something just because people are clever and find something that works. Also, making the vines unbreakable wouldn't even help because you can break the leaves. - 1
yes but on breeze island there is one spot u cant get up without vines and people have camped there all game
hey there, personally I don't really see this as an advantage at all to be honest. now please don't come at me, I'm not the biggest survival games player however the way I see it, is if a player is camping there the whole game, they are going to be disadvantaged. By staying in the one spot you can only get to by means of vines, it seems to me that you would end up severely under geared and would not have as much loot compared to other players. If you were to spend the whole game chasing people with your compass and killing them, you would naturally end up with better things, as well as enchanting, and likely getting good loot from some chests along the way. Without doing this and camping in one spot, you're basically gonna lose the game for yourself, so I don't really see how this is an issue at all. As for getting teamed on in this situation with the people camping on the tree, my advice is to team back! it's much more fun to play with your friends against some teamers than to get 3v1'd and then be upset about it. like I said this is just my view on this, I don't really see what difference unbreakable vines would make in the long run. -Nikki
