[Update] I apologize for the double post, but the requirements are back to how they were! https://gyazo.com/100a2d72d237fca11829188eff6d3989 Mine on, Minemen.
Hey! I disagree with your idea, the youtuber role is suppose to be special and not given to anyone. If people with 1000-1500 get youtuber rank, the whole server would see a surge in youtuber ranks. It will be more common that some paid ranks. Not only should you fill the requirements, I think that you should be a player which is not-toxic and acts nicely to everyone as thats a big part of being an influencer!
I like this proposal. For me, Minecraft has been having a hard time for quite some time. I still remember the first time we had the big PT YTer that brought along a large PT fanbase, this all was the result of a simple channel, though large it was. Factions has always had a smaller YT scene, but with unfrequent uploads, though that is a side note too. MC is suffering and with that MCC suffers too, we don't do much advertising and just kinda ride the current that everyone else in the MC community rides, if there are lots of players, generally, we have more, and if less, we have less. To combat this, i believe we should build a stronger community--- through YT personalities, channels and sub communities of players. YouTube has not ceased its growing during all the time MCC has had life and had we been using this platform properly, posting our own content and reinforcing that of others, I think we could have a lot larger, and loyal playerbase.
I agree with everything said. MCC should definitely lower the YT rank requirement, as it would actually encourage more and more MCC content from much more people.
I agree, it should remain a special rank. The rank also contains "Immortal" permissions, which means that more people (1500 subs youtubers) will be able to use these permissions. It will be a loss of income for the owners, since otherwise more and more people who get the youtuber rank will benefit from the granted permissions. Although, it is true that people with 1500 subscribers will most likely begin advertising for the server if they get the rank from 1500 subscribers. My personal opinion is clear: I don't like the idea, although it could bring the server more potential players.
Hey, This is very interesting and the fact is there is a YouTuber with about 6,000 subscribers who received the rank. I would recommend that if you believe that you have met the requirements that you should apply as there is no harm! Also if you have a good reputation with the community you will have a better chance of getting the rank. However I wish you all the best of luck!
Feel like there should be higher requirements for Youtuber Rank. You cant always trust someone with just 1000 subscribers. I just can't picture something good with a 1k subbed youtuber running around with top commands. ________________________________________________________________________________________ + instagram//dallasx._ + immortal rank + og minecrafter :) ________________________________________________________________________________________
But MCC has no leverage when asking for any more than a thousand subs. MCC brought on a few YouTubers and fixed the rank. So we'll see how it goes. But I feel 1,000 is acceptable for MCC in its state.
I personally think the minimum should be 5,000 subscribers and an average of around 500/1000 views seems fairly reasonable, however if someone just creates content which just constantly consists of videos from MCC then it should be lowered too 2.5K subs. I understand your point but I think what you said is way to low. Thanks, James
