It's kinda hard to ignore everyone talking about how they can't get in factions in chat at the moment, and doing this would really just make everyone happy, we're all thinking it, just do it. Don't be a rankist.
The main reason that subservers have capacities is because overloading the server with players would cause massive lag spikes, an unreadable chat, etc. Joining full servers has always been a donator perk and times like these is when it shows its value. The server is obviously not trying to *deliberately* exclude any players, this is just to provide a positive gameplay experience for those who are able to join the server. Simply put, there's no way to make everyone happy - either users will complain about not being able to get into the server, or complain about the lag caused by a server with an unlimited capacity.
This is the perfect response - This is not so much a choice on our behalf, it is a limitation of the hardware and how much a single Minecraft instance can handle.
