I cant fucking play this anymore. I somehow managed to get #24 at the end of last season's mcsg leaderboard, but i came back today and have died to nothing but hackers for the past 16 games. I have i think 21 games played, 1 game won, 20 deaths. Of those 20, 18 are due to hackers. The other two were 1v1s. Im sorry. Ive dealt with this bullshit for 4 months now, and i know many have dealt with it for way longer. But with Minecraft's resurgence, how the hell have you guys not thought to download a premade anticheat. HOW. They exist for a reason! Will they not protect against brand new ones 1 year down the line? Maybe not! But hey! I seriously doubt everyone getting Minecraft hacks is updating their shit every month. Dont bother with the "its being worked on" because ive read all these posts dating back YEARS, where this was still a problem. Its not being worked on because yall dont care enough to do it. So for now? I wont be playing on this hacker infested network until something gets done. - TA
I'm sorry that you feel this way. Although the Anti-Cheat truly is being worked on since I've seen it myself, I will not push you to understand that. Hopefully something will be done to where you are satisfied and you will return. Sorry that your experience has not been the best lately.
Sad to see so many leave because of all the hackers. Hopefully you and everyone else will return as soon as it get fixed.
The only real way to help solve the issue on the user end is to report the hackers. Or apply for staff and do something about it yourself if you get accepted. That's my plan anyway.
It's sad to see people leave just because of stupid hackers that ruin the server for everyone who wants to play it for fun but hopefully alex is going to get an anti-cheat soon because i haven't been able to play Skywars or the minigames i like for a while now since there have been fly hackers.They just ruin it for everyone and its annoying because they are in every game or ever 2 games.
Yeah I was winning like 4 sg games a day before the new anticheat was added but now I havent won a game in over a month, im sorry but Im prob gonna play hypixel or some other server now.
That's exactly the problem, they ARE using a pre-made AntiCheat. A public one off spigot that literally anyone can download. They said they were building off of it, but I'm pretty sure all they did was tweak the settings a bit. AdvancedAntiCheat isn't even an open source plugin, only offering a Developer API. What they need is a Developer Team to make a custom anticheat and continuously update it. It's honestly surprising they've been avoiding this for years, considering how large they are.
Honestly quite sad to see you quitting. MCC could improve given enough time. Also, PvP (SG) isn't the only thing available in the network. Skyblock, prison and more are a great choice imo.
Hey TurquoiseAsh! I'm sorry to hear about your frustrations, and you are right in that MCC has been struggling with an Anti-Cheat for quite some time now. I don't know if you've already thrown in the hat and quit, BUT the anti-cheat has taken massive steps recently. I'm not completely sure about SG, because I rarely play. However, if you go into SW, you'll notice a MASSIVE change. I don't believe it is up to a point where they want to announce it, and therefore no announcements have been made, but SW is a completely different place from what it was a week ago. Scaffolders and Fliers can no longer hack, and hacks such as reach and killaura were less common to begin with (Those hacks usually lived in KitPvP and SG.) This update on the Anti-Cheat was INCREDIBLY recent, so I think you should give it another chance. I can't promise it will be perfect, and I can almost promise it WON'T be perfect, but change is right around the corner. Just hang in there a little longer! Hope this helped! I can understand your opinion and pain you go through just like other people. Hopefully the new servers you choose are a better experience for you.
I mean, if you're still on the forums, the anticheat was just revamped, and has fixed a lot of problems that the server had with hackers. I hope you consider coming back soon!
