I don’t think it’s dying so to speak, although a lot less people are active as opposed to what their used to be. Plus, some of the game modes are dead and can barely even start a game, such as Build Champion, Speedy Walls, eg. At the moment a lot of players are hating the fact the owners are not doing anything to improve the servers AntiCheat. This is leading a lot of hackers to flood the server, this could cause people to leave in the future leading to the server to die if nothing is done.
Interesting. I thought they would have fixed the anti cheat issue by now. Like they would to the point fake player boost Speedy Walls. It always said 49 or 50 but noone was.
It definitely isn’t not dying. It has lost some players but it still has a big player base. The mini games have a lot of player so you don’t sit around waiting, that would be dead. If you liked speed walls or champion builder, those are pretty much dead. It is still getting updated a lot. We still have a community. Hope this helped, Waifer
Not anymore I’m afraid bud. Oh, and nope, AntiCheat is the main problem active players are facing at the moment, owners and staff alike are just completely ignoring the situation and nothing so far is being done.
The server is definitely a lot smaller than it used to be. It started dying back in 2017-18 once people started to realize the new anticheat didn't stop any cheats. Also most of the player counts now are spoofed, especially for minigames, so we have no real way to get legitimate numbers anymore. Though I would assume the server has around 600-700 actual people online right playing now. Rest are alts or just spoofed counts. Throwback to 2015-16 when MCC almost always had 3000+ players online oof. So anyways, I would say that yes it is dying, but at a very slow rate. It's taken literal years for the average player count to drop ~2000. Though if this keeps up, and they don't take any action to keep their players, in a few more years the server might shut down. Which would be pretty disappointing, when I first joined on release the server had so much potential.
This Server Lost Many Parts Of Its Community Due To The Rise Of Other Amazing Servers Like Hypixel And Staff Got Very Immature During The Following Years

Short Answer : Nope, every gamemode except speedy walls and champion builder is kind of dead. Other than that, have a wonderful day!
In my opinion I still see the server with a lot of potential with a daily of 2000 players. The staff team does their job well ridding hackers along with what else they're suppose to do, so I do not see this server dying anytime soon, maybe play some sub servers to find what you'll like best since you haven't played in a year plus a few resets happened as well so you can start fresh. (If you're looking to play Minigames though, like others said it will take a while to get into a game besides Skywars and SG I believe :) )
I dont think its dying but there are a few hackers which could make people quit. There are hackers on every server...
Heyo! In my honest opinion, the server isn't dead. Sure, it lost some of it's player-base, but every server goes through that state at some point. It is still among some of the bigger servers, and there still is an active player-base and community surrounding MCC. Who knows what's to come? Maybe the server will boost it's numbers again after some new changes are implemented to make everything new. All that we know is that right now, the server is not dead and I hope it will continue to stay that way. I hope everyone is having a great day or night!
One of the biggest servers to hack on oof. the hacker problem has already gained -1 player and that's me and I'm sure a few others so that might make the server dead.
MCC is definitely not dead, depending on the modes you enjoy. Speedy Walls and Champion Builder don't get a whole lot of love when it comes to players. Other than these two, the sub servers and mini-games are populated and lively. You'll encounter a hacker every 10 or so games, if you're lucky to go that long without one. The anti-cheat has been rough but it hasn't pushed players away. I personally think MCC has been at a stable rate of both growth and loss.
MCC is so to speak dying in terms of the average players are on each day, i remember back 5 years ago the server was booming and had many more players than it does now, mcc use to hit 8k players and it was really something back then, but mcc could not maintain this player base it seems, it depends what is the plan of the owners, if alex and vislo plan to keep maintaining the sub server which get them money (factions, skyblock and prison) then the server will stay as it is as alex and vislo can maintain loyal players in factions and etc. And they can innovate in these things.
I disagree. MCC is dying. There was a point in time when it used to have 6000-7000 on at once and I just don't see that anymore. It's sad to see MCC come to this but it's mainly because of the hackers. Mini-games are full of hackers so many people tend to stay away from those. Other than that its all sub-servers in which there's a goal and those are full of hackers too.
I would say MCC is dying but it isn't dying quickly. This is mainly due to the huge amount of hackers in-game, which has been brought up countless numbers of times. Hopefully the Anti-Cheat gets sorted out sometime soon and the server can be on a rise again. ~ _LeaveMeAlone_
I wonder who you were talking about here then? You didn't happen to see a video and thread about it previously to this did you? Just curious...
