Currently in Cakewars, invisibility is vanilla. In 1.8.9 you are able to see player's nametags (and active particle effects) when they're invisible. I have provided a gif below that shows you what it's like when a player is invisible. The extreme visibility of the invisible potion it pretty much useless considering you're still able to see the player. I reckon invisibility potions should be 2 emeralds instead of 1 and make the player entirely invisible. They would have to have their nametag hidden and their active particles disabled while they're invisible. You can also tell from the gif that the player continued to stay invisible after they were hit. I believe players that take damage while they're invisible they should lose their invisibility, this way it's not too op. Hey there, I agree with the complete invisibility, on most other servers it's like that but I've noticed on mcc you can still see the nametag which is a waste of a potion unless someone is completely oblivious. However, I disagree and think players should stay invisible for the full duration, but maybe make the potions not last as long and like you said, 2 emeralds instead of 1 to balance it so it's not too op.
Hey! I agree with this suggestion a lot. I have bought the invisibility potion multiple times but it shows my armor which defeats the purpose. I think that two emeralds would be a good way to make the invisibility potion effective whilst making it harder to get. Agreed!
It only shows your armor for you. You would realize that if you clicked the gif he provided to back up his claim.
I completely agree. The invisibility potion will not be worth the cost if it does not work properly. The invisibility potion should not show armor, effects, player IGN, or effects when hit. I agree that this is unfair, and should be worked on.
hey! i totally agree with your suggestion because the potion doesn't really seem completely useful if the tags are still noticeable. it'd really be great if the potions were updated like you said. love the idea! +1
