If you chose any age to go back to what age would it be? Why? Personally, I'd want to be around 13-14. I feel like the 2015-16 era was one of the last best. I am looking forward to the future though because I personally can't wait to have my career choice and the life I've always wanted, but If I could only go back I would definitely choose middle school. I had good grades, was in plenty of sports, and I had fewer worries than I do now. Simple times :)
HI I would choose to become a 2 year old, because when I spill my food no a days I get in trouble. So when I'm two, I don't get yelled at, I can sit on the couch and watch SpongeBob. Thanks :D -FourNut
def between the 2-4 year range, best years of my life having my family do absolutely anything and everything i wanted
For me probably when I was around 7-9. Those times were so great. Me and my brothers and parents would go to the back of the school where the baseball field was and we'd throw the ball around and all. The school I went to was great! And the darecare I went to was really good! Right now that age was about the best part of the life, or the most filling
I would go back to my 15-16 years old, I feel that because of the pandemic I was unable to enjoy many parties that I could have enjoyed at that age without the pandemic.
I would want to be 7 again, because that's the year when I met most of my friends and that's also the year I had my best memories.
I'd go back a day. Yesterday I dropped a pizza slice on the floor. With that pizza slice, my soul also fell in darkness. If I could go back a day my soul wouldn't been broken and I would've enjoyed myself 1 more pizza slice :c
Retrospective looking on your life (in most cases) will often leave the past in a rose-tinted haze. I'm sure I could look back at any of the years of my life and be like "Man, I wish I was 16 again - had my license, had a job, could do what I wanted without any responsibilities!", but, the thing is, looking back at it more objectively, there isn't really any parts of my life that I believe would be "good". I believe it's often the people we have in our life, and the experiences we have that make certain periods of time feel 'good'. Simply reverting back to a younger (or older) age would not inherently guarantee happiness, more quality, or fulfilled life. If anything, the intrinsic fact that we can NOT change our age or the time period at which we live is what makes things like nostalgia so powerful.
I'm 100% going back to invest in bitcoin being rich seems nice even though that would make me 15ish I guess! :)
well id pick 5, so i dont get in trouble for everything! Cuz my sisters get me in trouble FOR EVERYTHING!!
I would def choose to be age 7-11 again best years of my life and I could change what I did in the past to make my future way more enjoyable and different.
Hey, This is an interesting question to think about :D If I can keep all of my current memories, the earlier in life I return to, the "better" the outcome will probably be. Imagine using knowledge from the future, investing in bitcoins 10 years ago, or simply getting a Minecraft username with only two characters. If I can't keep my current memories, then there's no difference between whether I live in the current time or return to the past. I will still make the same decisions and do the same things as I did in the past. I do miss a lot of good moments in the past, but the "me in the past" will not have those thoughts at that moment. I probably won't even notice this "unknown cycle of life in the past" after returning to the past lol.
