Have you ever seen a player hack, cheat or break a rule? This thread will show you how to report that cheater and get them punished! Step 1 To find the page on the forums where you can report players, you can simply type /report into chat ingame. You will receive a message like this: Simply click on the link provided. To chatreport a player, type in /chatreport (player) (reason) and the last ten minutes of their chat will be viewable to a staff member. If you're already on the forums and you are struggling/trying to find out where to report players, simply head on over to Forums and under the subtitle MCCentral Punishments, click on Report Players. Step 2 Once you have entered this page, you should see something like this: Step 3 To report a player, look towards the top right of the page and then, click the yellow button that says Report A Player Then, you will see a page that looks like this: Step 4 To fill this out, 1. Type in your username. 2. The player(s) that you wish to report's usernames. 3. The location (server) that you found the cheater in. 4. The rule that the reported player(s) have broken. Like so, In the description, all you really need to put in is, evidence. Evidence is key for a report to be accepted and for a player to be punished. No evidence = Instant deny. You will need video evidence for almost every report. You can record your gameplay using OBS Studio or Bandicam or basically any other free gameplay recording software. Download to OBS Studio Download to Bandicam When you have recorded evidence of a cheater, you will need to upload your evidence. I would advise you to use either Youtube or Streamable. Youtube Streamable When your video has finished uploading, you can copy and paste the link into the description of the report. Step 5 When you have completed your report, click the big yellow button that says Submit: When reporting, make sure to follow all the reporting guidelines that can be seen at the top of the reporting page and also here. You should report any player that you see that is breaking any of MCCentral's rules. The rules can be viewed here. A staff member will read your report as soon as they can. The reports team consists of a lot of members of the staff team and they will try to read all reports as soon as possible. Please be patient. Thank you for reading. Have a wonderful day!
Hi! Nice guide! I really like how you detailed every step to reporting and told everything required to report players! I myself have over 100 reports and this guide will surely help people who do not know how to stop hackers! This is a +1 for me! Have a wonderful day!
Isn't really useless. It helps get rid of hackers and other rule breakers (even if the process is very, very slow) and if we all pitch in it can have an affect.
It is still good to report no matter what. The rule breaker will eventually run out of alts or only have a few.
report tickets usually do take some time for a response from a reports team member to get to ‘em. however, i feel that it’s the best way to notify staff about a hacker even if they were already banned from a witness or from some sweat tagging staff in the discord.. ya’ get? it also ensures that a staff who, for the most part, can detect hacks and also it wouldn’t get lost in other messages (if someone were to tag staff ‘bout a hacker)... this is true and there’s always more than one hacker that’s online.. but.. no comment. it’s so true. tehehheheee :) this *eventually* is kinda a long ways, as mentioned already. but EVENTUALLY it can get handled. even if they get an ip ban and a vpn that bypasses this ipban.... also, the once a a day times the anticheat decides it wants to work, also helps out a ‘bit too. mr sir. i hope this helped.. or like. didn’t. drc tbh. have fun sweating mcc. bye.
I think that this was a well done thread. I know that a lot of new players run into hacker and don’t know how to report them. Now this should help them
