Thank you for this detailed tutorial, although I don't play survival, if I were to start this would've really confused me. Great video for newer players/players who don't know a lot about permissions, plots etc.
Hey, @deltoriumI typically I would fish in my own plot or resource world, but if you choose to do on other plots this is my Recommendation. I would aim for the middle where it won't touch the edge of the block to were it updates you can't modify the plot advertisement. I try to cast it in the air and have it drop in the middle of the pond or any water source.
