Once you reach Rank Z, you obtain the ability to prestige by simply ranking up as normal for completely free. Hope this helps!
And make sure you have a certain amount of blocks mined before you do. For each Prestige, the amount needed increases.
Ah right, thanks for pointing this out. I've always had the required blocks just by the time I reach the rank to prestige so I never remember that it's actually a requirement.
