I have two ideas that could fix the toxicity of skyblock’s recent pvp community, /fix all is a main issue due to the fact that people can’t fix in combat which is the time when its mainly being used. Solution: Adding Hellforge, or costing to fix which I know they removed the ability to fix in combat for a reason but skyblock pvp was always about long gap fights until someone quickied. And my last offer was to bring back old boss battles because I can see that mccentral is trying to remove pay2win but it’s a lot more fun than having my computer to struggle to load the players and not be able to hit the boss at all.
I just posted this thread because some skyblock players might just start to quit (which some have) and go to kitpvp, just like the rookies in kitpvp.
Hey Hactos! I understand your frustration, but unfortunately SkyBlock is far from a PVP server. If people wanted long gap fights, arena duel is a thing. Adding a cost to /fix WAS added in KitPvP. /fix is more common in SkyBlock for tools, because this server revolves largely around the playerbase that wants to get AWAY from PvP and relax via farming and building. And, like you said, they removed /fix in combat for a reason. I personally have never seen a huge reason to want to PvP in SkyBlock in the first place. Payout for killing somebody, especially a tougher player with gaps and full enchant diamond armor, is not worth it. And, if anybody has mythical armor/weapons and gaps, you're never going to beat them unless you double team them. Just farm as you would regularly on SkyBlock, and move to KitPvP or ArenaDuels when you're itching to pick a fight. Have a nice day/night! -Zguy2000
Hey Hactos, Skyblock probably won't be receiving any updates until the next reset rolls around - gotta give some love to the other sub-servers too! Hellforge will definitely be something we look at adding in the next season, and perhaps even something akin to mending as a custom enchant. Skyblock PvP is definitely more healthy nowadays due to the removal of commands in PvP. Before people would just camp P5 with stacks of notch apples and literally never die; which was simply no fun.
